THIS IS BUILTWORLDSOur mission is to push our industry FORWARD...
With that in mind, we see ourselves as a dynamic new forum for innovation and creative collaboration. Our aims transcend traditional design and construction and represent a broader approach to connecting people and ideas all across the many worlds that serve the built environment. Leveraging the digital, interactive, and big data power of the internet— combined with the irreplaceable value in live, human interaction— we are building an online platform to fuel the exchange of fresh thinking that will lead these worlds, and all of us ultimately, toward a brighter future.
Spanning the built worlds requires a wider platform that bridges across the many specialized silos that have historically divided us. In so doing, we mean to connect and engage the worlds that develop, plan, design, build, operate and maintain our buildings, infrastructure and ecosystem.
We are committed to serving you and each other. The built environment is vast, and to paraphrase Walt Whitman, it “contains multitudes.” But together, by embracing change and promoting (and improving) new technologies, we are confident that we can trade in this industry’s contentious past for a future that is much more harmonious, efficient and profitable. JOIN US. THE FUN IS JUST BEGINNING.
It is not the
beauty of a
building you
should look
at; its the
construction of
the foundation
that will stand
the test of time.

“ As an organization, we were especially attracted to a
forum that brings together people from various industries
to collaborate and work together, and get creative... A lot
of younger people coming into the workforce today are
looking for that team effort.
There is such a need for leadership across the board that
starts at a grass roots level, that allows the industry to
learn over time... I think it is very courageous on behalf of
BuiltWorlds to say ‘Hey, now that the times are good, those
are the times for change.’ And not just change for change’s
sake, but actually showing results, showing those measures,
understanding how to celebrate, and support the people who
are trying to do something different...
