• They are formed by magma/lava cooling inside or outside the earth.

• When igneous rocks cool the minerals in the rock form crystals.

• The igneous rocks that form outside the earth cools and hardens faster than the igneous rocks that form inside the earth.

• They are formed by pressure and heat and if they are heated a lot they can form into thin layers.

• When weathering accrues rocks can turn into pebbles.

• Wavy bands may accrue when they are heated a lot.

This mineral is called Hematite. It is a mineral that is mostly found in igneous rocks.

Hematite is my favorite rock because it is very interesting and I like it because it is found in igneous rocks and I like igneous the best.
