Facts/statistics: Iraq’s population is made up of 50% 18 year-olds The U.S. is sent into Iraq to help stabilize and rebuild there capital Children in Iraq are born in the aftermath of debilitating wars (which leads up to children becoming child soldiers)

The incident I researched was child soldiersThe article I used to gather my information was called, “Iraq’s Young Blood” - In this article it was about this boy called Ammar who grew up going to the firing range with his dad. Once he got a little older he joined the neighborhood night watch and then the army Children and there parents are involved in this incident

What led up to child soldiers? - Being born and raised around the aftermath of a war - Going to the firing range multiple of times - Seeing combat from an early age What were the results of child soldiers? - Many casualties - More crimes How was the incident handled? -When the U.S. came to help stabilize and rebuild Iraq’s capital they also helped in the removal of child soldiers Why was this topic interesting to you? - This topic was interesting to me because I didn’t know that child soldiers existed and I wanted to learn why a child would like to become a soldier
