Kirtland snake

It has a dorsal background that is reddish brown

and is 36 cm. to 62 cm. long. It also has black spots.

What do they look like?

They have birth to 5 to 8 babies in late summer.They are about 11 to 17 cm. Their young are darker than the mother and father.

It eats earth worms and slugs.

We hunt them and foxes, hawks, and raccoonseat them.

It protect its self by wiggling fast and stillness and hides in its burrow.
