I want to be clear about something first....

In the beginning of my Offline Marketing Business I was like alot of you out there. I was buying info products, Videos, Memberships, and pretty much any product I could get my hands on. But the problem was that most of those products didn't really dive into the “how-tos”. Don’t get me wrong, some of them gave great content and tips. But most fell short on the nuts and bolts and left alot of questions unanswered.

Here it is in a nutshell:

We will be renting out 1 page wordpress sites we create in every city. But not just the 1 page site, we will have links all over the first pages of Google all linking back to that site! This is what I call my Google Love Package! Feel free to use that term or make your own up. Doing this makes it pretty easy to lease these out since you are not trying to rent them a site that has just 1 result on Googles first page. These sites I create are all over the first pages of Google! Usually occupying more than 7-11 first page spots with various search phrases!





Here is just one example

Do you see all those red arrows pointing to those links? Those all go back to my lease site to one business owner! Now thats what I call Google Love! Can see just how powerful this method is!

Now I know there are a few people out there that will argue “Well... that is not a large city” or “That is not a high searched keyword according to the Google Adword Keyword Tool!”

Here is what I have to say on those topics.





I have used this method on small cities and large cities like San Francisco and San Jose with great success! So that is not a problem.

Next..... Stop using the Google Adword Tool for your offline clients! It is a waste of time and doesn't even give you most of the local search terms. It holds back 1,000’s of search terms that people are searching for everyday!

We will dive more into that topic in a little bit.

Ok... Now that you know the method I want to first introduce myself a little to you before we get into the “how-tos”.

Lets back up for a minute...

Ok... So just a little background on me your host Doc Dan. I had been marketing online for over a decade. It all started when I had my own Personal Training business where I would come to your home and pump you up! That was back in the days when I was 250lbs and worked part-time as a bouncer at one of the hottest nightclubs in San Francisco.





Ok... I just threw that pic in to reminisce on good times. But that was my first site that I set up using Yahoo’s SiteBuilder. Some of you might remember that thing. After that I ran a few other businesses that I promoted online as well.

It wasn't until I had got into the Mortgage Business when I saw massive success from Online Marketing. In less than 45 days I had made my first check for $30,000. Keep in mind that I had no warm market and I didn't know anything about mortgages. I did this only using Online Marketing tactics, never made a cold call and I still use these strategies today!

After making a heck of alot of money in the next 2-3 years in that industry and also doing a large real estate deals, I was bored out of my mind! Why? Because I love to grow by learning new things, meet new people, take on new challenges, and most of all share with others what I have achieved in my life.

So I took 1 year off and started traveling. Now I don’t mean I just hopped on a plane and started going to vacation spots so I can try to distract myself even more. No... I was on a spiritual journey. Thats when I joined Tony Robbins Exclusive peer group called Platinum Partners.





This is where I learned from Tony what I was truly meant to do, and that was to help others to achieve what I had achieved in my life already. Meaning an abundance or wealth, health, and happiness.

I was starting to look like a Rap Star and everywhere I went, I would actually get people taking pictures of me with there camera phones because they thought I was a famous Rapper or Rock Star!

And RockStar was born!

Now you know where RockStar came from. I didn't just make up the name to use like everyone else out there. It has a meaning. So many people would ask me if I was a Rock Star and I would say “Yes! I am a RockStar in Life! and So are you!” They loved this!

I was able to get both books on Amazon’s best sellers list without ever having an official book launch. I did this from a few strategies I learned from my book coach and a few ebooks I bought online. I guess I will need to create a product on doing this as well.

I know that there are a few people that frown on buying a product like this and finding a bunch of affiliate links in it to services and products that are recommended. Now I do agree that some peoples whole strategy for making money on some of these info products is to write a bunch of fluff or rehashed info and then load it with affiliate links. I promise to not to do this to you.

But lets be honest, when someone recommends a service to you and you haven't bought it or used it before, why wouldn't you want them to get a little “thanks” from the owner of that product or service? Maybe its just me.

So I don’t want to hear anyone complaining that we created a product and filled it with affiliate links. Most of the links I have included to services that don’t have an affiliate program but I just wanted to track how many clicks it got.

You can do this method without spending a dime except for the cost of your hosting and a domain name. So anything else I recommend is just to make life easier for you and save you time and energy so you can spend it with your family, friends, or loved ones.





Also please DO NOT call any of the numbers or email any of my clients if you see them in the examples.

Ok.. You ready? I want to make this method as simple as possible.

There are a few steps that take a little while to get set up so we want to start with those as we get ready to launch our Google Love service. Some of these things you might already have set up and you can just skip it.

But I wanted to make sure this was newbie friendly as well.





Set up a Paypal Premier or Paypal Business Account.

You will need this in order to be able to receive monthly recurring payments from your clients via the subscription option. You wont be able to get monthly recurring payments with a Paypal Personal Account. It doesn't cost anything to set up and should only take 1-3 days to have it approved if memory serves me correct.

I personally chose the business account.

Also be sure to sign up for the Paypal Debit Card when you qualify. This allows you to use your money you get immediately as soon as it hits your Paypal account. Otherwise you gotta wait 2-4 days for the money to transfer into your bank account. This is just an option if you like to use your cash now and don’t want to wait.

For right now just go set it up with you don’t already have one. If you already use a merchant service and have the capabilities to accept monthly recurring payments via credit cards then you don’t need to set this up.

Update: I have been getting alot of questions on how to protect yourself when using Paypal since some people have had their accounts frozen for one reason or another.

I have used Paypal for my clients for many years without ever running into problems.

The only time I ran into problems using Paypal... was when I launched Google Love 1.0 last year.





Probably because too many little payments came through in too short of time. Not a big deal... they only put a rolling reserve on my account where 30% of the money came in would be put on hold for 90% and then released.

This never happened to me... until I started selling info products using Paypal.

What does this mean for you offline marketers?

Nothing... lol

You should be fine using Paypal :-)

RockStar Ben Here... Okay, I believe it is good to get going... and if Paypal is what you have, that’s fine, but if you have more than 5 clients - please get out of Paypal!

I like to use PaySimple Merchant account instead of Paypal. PaySimple is not very expensive and the processing fees are actually lower than Paypal. It is fast and easy to setup recurring billing, and is much safer than Paypal, as it removes a lot of risks from your business cash flow...

Why?

So, if something ever happened to your payment account... then you still have all your clients credit card numbers and can move them to whatever billing you want to use.

With Paypal... you dont have that option. They don’t give you the credit card numbers at all. If there was any type of glitch in the system that prevented your billing to run, you’d be screwed!

You would have to go back to every one of your clients and have them sign up again. It would almost be like selling them all over again, which just sucks!

PaySimple does cost about $30 a month and requires a credit check, but it is easy and painless.

If you decide to use PaySimple... Be sure you tell them you are a Marketing Consultant or ..... Do not tell them you are a SEO anything.... Because they think of developing country spammers and scam artists when they hear SEO Consultant etc.

My advice: Get started with something right now!

If that means getting your first 3-5 customers using Paypal... then do it... You can always have your clients complete a form or an agreement where you collect their credit card info, so that you can switch them to PaySimple once you are ready to switch.

For those of you that don’t have one set up I highly recommend using Hostgator. If your not using Hostgator then switch now! The rest suck in my opinion. It has gotten to the point where I wont even work on a clients site if they don’t use Hostgator. Trust me, you will waste valuable time using anyone else.

The reason I tell you to get hosting now, is because it can sometimes take a few hours to get it all up and running in case of any hiccups, and we want to get rocking on this asap! Right?

Do you need hosting to do this method? No... You can do all of this without even having a website set up. I have a buddy that built his entire business without having a website or even touching a clients site as well. Heck 90% of my clients have never even been to one of my sites! Thats why I usually don’t update them much.

Some of the tools we sometime use are called Pixelpipe, Ping.fm and hellotxt. I am sure you have probably heard of these 3 powerful marketing tools.

Best of all they are FREE!

Before I start talking about using services like Pingfm, hellotext and or Pixelpipe...

Let me share this email I sent out, after people starting screaming “the sky is falling!” because Pixelpipe closed new registrations temporarily:

Those of you that have been wondering what to do when Pixelpipe closes new registrations temporally.

First off let me start with something that I just posted inside themembers area of the Offline RockStar Academy:

With all the people worried about duplicate content, backlinking,Pixelpipe closing new registrations... etc





Here is a little test I just did a few days ago.

- I created an ad using ClassifiedAds.com (Note: We will be going over this strategy in the upcoming lessons)

- I just copied all the same ads, text, and keywords I made for my current client in a different city and pasted it in other cities.

I know some of you are you thinking... “Oh Noooo..... What about the duplicate content hammer from Google?” lol...

- I then only changed the city name because I was targeting a newcity for my client. So... the entire ad was exactly like the 7-10other ads I made for him with the exception of the city name only.

Results?

- In less than 5 minutes it was already on the first page of Googlein the #3 spot without using Pixelpipe, Pingfm, Hellotxt or anything else....

- In about 2-3 days the ad got de-indexed by Google and wasntshowing up anywhere. (The Google Dance)

- In about 1-3 days after that it popped back up and was now in the#1 Spot on that first page of Google and still there today!

But its not the end of the world if they shut down the doors or disappear as many services do sometimes.

Now keep in mind that this is not an exhaustive list.

Also I personally wouldn't target all of them myself. There are alot on this list that I wouldn't touch even if they called me and wrote me a check for $10,000.

Why?

Because some of them require too much hand holding and babysitting. I personally only want to get clients that sign up and then let me do my job without calling me constantly asking me questions and wanting updates.

That is why I target mainly service type businesses. Because they are easy to maintain and super easy to replace if they cancel on you.





Here is a real life example of mine. I started with a handful of Realtors and Mortgage Brokers. Why? Because I used to be in this business myself, and made 2 calls and hooked up with a superstar that referred me tons of business! They have made me over $50,000 in just a few weeks alone!

Note: The following advice I gave in GL v1.0:

But here is the problem. Realtors and Mortgage Brokers are very hands on and want to be internet savvy. This is not the problem. The problem is that they will call and email you a few times a month asking you all kinds of questions on what you are doing, how can they do this and that, and what do you think about this new service that just came out and was announced at their weekly pitch-fest meeting for there office.

Now you might be thinking to yourself, “Heck, for $20,000 in a few weeks I will do that!” Wrong! Because all that time adds up! Then you wont have time to get new clients or spend more time with your family or whatever it is you want to do with your free time. I am just warning you in the beginning.

This is why I am very picky on accepting new clients now. I don’t want to do more work for the same money. I am in this business for the freedom it gives me. That is why I love it!

Update GL v2.0:

I still recommend being very picky on who you take on as a client, and choosing your clients wisely.

But... over the last year... I also learned that you must set up boundaries and train your clients how to work with you.

If its a new client you just took on... then this is easy.

You just need to verbally let them know and or include what your boundaries are when they hire you in the agreement.





What do I mean?

For example...

When I take on a new client today... I tell them what is included in the service they just hired me for.

I let them know... here is whats included in that service.... etc

I might tell them... You can have 1-2 updates made to your site a month. Which means... small changes like... change the logo or adding a new service they just started offering to the site.

I also train my clients to only email me... and not to call me anymore.

Why?

Because when they call you... they want to talk about everything that they have on their mind, and sometimes they just want to talk about life and family...lol

Don’t get me wrong... I like most of my clients, and do enjoy talking to them... But if I talked to every one of them like this... I wouldn't have any time to do any actual work or even have time for my family.

One other thing that has worked really well with new and even existing clients I have had for a few years...

Look, we want you to be able to leverage your time. The whole purpose of leasing sites and owning and controlling your digital assets is to keep you out of the “dancing monkey” trap. Here is how I handle those situations when a client wants to constantly call and get extra coaching and such...





Setup a simple membership or mastermind program for a nice monthly fee. Call it your “platinum program.” You can make this a group mastermind that meets once per month in your city, or you can even do this with a webinar program, such as Gotowebinar. So, If a client starts to ask you about other ideas to market or wants to run some “new service” they just heard about by you... You can simply refer them to your special “platinum program” and let them know about it...

“This sounds really great... You should know that I have a special platinum coaching program reserved for clients who want to get even more out of their marketing. We meet monthly and share knowledge and high-level strategy with one another. I think you would enjoy joining us. Or, you can simply charge a fee for 1-on-1 coaching (although I am against this, personally). Just be sure to include pricing in your replies.

You can price it anywhere from $100-$1,000+ per session. Its your business... and be sure to get paid for your expertise :-)

I would never price yourself under $100 per session (30min to 1hour)

When you let them know that your time is money and you are not their dancing monkey... they will respect your boundaries and or pay you a lot of money to give them more advice :-)

So... be sure to set your boundaries up from the beginning and train your clients on how to work with you.

That said... I urge you to consider a group coaching program as it would truly leverage your time, and the fact that multiple participants will be involved will only facilitate a higher-level experience. Think about it... They get to learn from you, and each other, and it is high-level networking. And you, the facilitator, gets all the credit!

Now, let’s talk money... Let’s say you offer the platinum program and you charge $300 per month and only have 10 members. That’s an extra $36,000 per year and will only take up about 30 hours of your time per year. Do the math... That’s over $1,000 per hour - talk about leveraging your time!!!!

Back to you Dr. Dan...

So what are some good service type businesses to choose from?

Personally I like House/ Commercial Painters. Why? Because I have a few of them and they rarely call me for anything. Are they the only ones like this? No. You can find plenty of businesses like this.

I suggest going to the services areas of Craigslist.org and Backpage.com to get some more ideas.

Don’t forget that you can really niche down. Meaning instead of targeting just Photographers you can target Pet Photographers. Even Lawyers specialize in different services...

For instance... I have a student that is crushing it with Attorneys that specialize in __________. Sorry.... I promised him I wouldn't give away his secret niche :-(

But... If you go to almost any Lawyers site... you will see that Lawyers specialize in many services like... Personal Injury, Car Accidents, Auto Defects, Products Liability, Catastrophic Injury, Wrongful Death, Nursing Home Abuse, Dog Bites... and much much more...

You just need to decide which one you want to target ;-)

You can pretty much do the same in most industries.

Even some Realtors target a specific type of service at times. I have a few Realtors that specialize in people looking for short sales and foreclosures. That means that I can now be the short sale and foreclosure marketing expert to all the local Realtors in every city. That sounds better than saying “I just offer marketing to Realtors.”

Also if you have any experience in the above industries it would be a good idea to target those since you already have some insight into the business.

Choose only one industry you want to target. Why only one? Because by doing this, you are positioning yourself as the expert in this industry.

I will give you a quick example.

When I started working with 3 realtors that were referred to me, I quickly got them all over the first pages of Google. After I did this, I took a screen shot using snagit and printed out color copies for my portfolio. I created a bunch





of red arrows pointing at the 7-11 spots my client held on the first page of Google.

Now every time I meet with a potential client who is a realtor, I have those 3 different screen shots to share. They are blown away from the results I got for their competition. They saw me as the go-to person for realtors that want to market themselves online.

Now I am not trying to give you legal advice here. Seek a professional to help you with this. But for me, I have one main company that I use for all my different clients and consulting. But then I have another separate business name that I use for the Real Estate niche and then another one for the Painting niche.

In the beginning I only used my main business name and just set up the 2 sites to position myself as the expert in that industry. This works awesome.

HOT TIP: Create a separate company name for businesses you want to target. For instance, if you are targeting Locksmiths. Call yourself Local Locksmith Marketing or Affordable Locksmith Leads. Or something like that. Be sure to watch the bonus video we included on this topic :-)

Just know.... that you want to select a niche or industry that can afford your services.

#2 Not all people in the same industry are equal

Some people have came back to me and said... “I tried to go after realtors or painters and they said my services were too expensive”.Why did this happen?

Because there are Poodle Fluffers in almost all types niches and industries as well...

What do I mean by that?

I will use Realtors as the example...

If you go to a local Real Estate brokers website... You will see they have anywhere from 20-200+ agents listed on their website.

How many of those agents work in the office?

Could be anywhere from 10 - 50

What about the rest?

They either work from home, or they just hung their real estate license up with the broker and never did anything else with it...lol

Whats my point?





I have met with hundreds of real estate agents and brokers... Just like in most industries... 60-80% of them don’t make much money.

Those are the agents you want to avoid!

They are looking for a service that costs around $10-30 a month and expect you to deliver them $200,000 in return...lol

This is the same with Painters, Plumbers and other industries...

Only target the ones that are making enough money to pay for your services.

More on this later...





Keyword Research

Now its time to talk about keywords and search phrases to target. This is another one of those topics that are always coming up in the forums and most of the information being shared is just really bad.

You see... The tactics usually being shared in there are from Internet Marketers that come from affiliate marketing and other online marketing tactics and strategies. They do not have that much experience with Local Online Marketing.

But thats good news for you because there is really not that much competition out there. Heck.. I am constantly doing research for local businesses to see what niche I want to jump into next. Or I just get bored and like looking around to see what the competition is in my area. Its almost non-existent in all the areas I looked at!

So here is the Offline RockStar Secret!

Stop thinking like an internet marketer and start thinking like a local marketer.

Here is what I mean:





If someone is looking for a locksmith in their area, what do you think they type in? Do you really think they type in “locksmith city”? If you have ever done that yourself you will see there are millions of competing site typically and nothing to separate them. Its a lost cause. Its almost like choosing someone out of a phonebook with your eyes closed!

You must get into the mind of the local searcher. For example when my iPod stopped working I didn't just type in Google search bar “iPod repair”. Why because I knew the results would be way too much and it didn't help me with what was wrong with my iPod in the first place. What I typed in was the problem I was having. I typed in the following “music playing out of one side of earphones on iPod 5th generation” or something like that. Because that was the problem I was having.

What were the results for that search. Pretty bad... I had to go something like 3-4 pages deep to find an actual company that offered a solution. They had a video on their site showing what the problem was, how to fix it, and how much it cost to do that. I bought from them right away.

Now obviously I am using this example because it is something that I was looking for awhile back and it is a perfect example of how people search for services online whether its local or not. The same rules will apply.

Now if I had a local business that repaired iPods (this is a great idea guys) I would be creating a site that ranked on the first pages of Google for these type of search phrases and not the lame generic term like iPod repair city name.

Here is another great example...

Recently we moved from Northern California (The Bay Area) to Southern California (Newport Beach Area).

Because I was speaking at an event in Florida a few days after the move. I wasnt about to try moving anything myself and tire myself out before my trip.





So we wanted to hire a full service moving company.

Now... I am the master at searching the web for deals and service providers... I left this task to my wife Siri Shakti...

Why?

Outsource.... lol

Actually... Its because I already had too much on my plate, and needed to focus on other projects... so that I didnt lose any momentum or wear myself out.

So what did my wife do?

She went to the magic Google search wizard thingy for answers...lol

I later asked her, “How did you find the company you chose?”

She told me that she first tried searching for...

Moving CompanyMoversMovers City Nameand so on...

Most people make the same mistake when doing local searches and quickly find out that its flooded with Lead Generation companies trying to get your info before you can actually talk to someone.

What did my wife do next?

She started searching for the solution she was looking for...

long distance moving company city namelong distance moving company prices city name





long distance moving company reviews city namemove from northern california to southern californiaetc...

This really narrowed it down for her, and she was able to find a really great company at $2,000 less than what others were asking for.

Just imagine how many moving companies are losing out on thousands to tens of thousands of dollars every year because they are not showing up for those local searches.

Can you see how these businesses need your help?

The same things happened to me when I was looking for local car window repair shop that would come to my house and fix my mercedes window that got smashed when my neighbor was mowing his lawn and a rock got swept up and shot right into my window.

Because the shops had such bad web presence and I really couldn't find what I was looking for in the searches, I had to go to that old ancient yellow book called “The Phone Book”. Do you remember those things? These local businesses need you now! Imagine if you were to build these sites using search phrases and keywords that no one else is using because they don’t know they exist. Why don’t they know? Because they are all using the same tired old tools to do their keyword research. More on that in a second.

Now lets use an example of a industry we might want to target. I will take you through my process on deciding what keywords and search phrases to target.

First off I don’t use Googles Adword Keyword Tool or even Market Samurai anymore. Why? Because it keeps hundreds and thousands of keywords from you. How do we know? Because if you have ever used Google Suggestion bar you will see there are many search phrases people are actively searching and they will never show up in Googles Adword Keyword





Tool. Now alot of you will say, “But how will we know how many searches it generates?” Who cares!

Most of those local searches are skewed anyways. Think about it, how many other SEO and fellow internet marketers like yourself are searching for local search terms to rank their clients or to try and sell to them? Alot! Thats how many. So if 1,000’s of marketers and also businesses that sell to businesses are using the searchers to find people to sell to, then doesn't that defeat the purpose?

People ask me all the time “Do you get traffic to these sites if you are not using Google Adword Keyword Tool?”

My answer is yes! I get my clients 1,000’s of views from ultra targeted prospects because I am only using search terms and phrases that people type in when they are ready to buy!

Here is one more thing to keep in mind...

If my client is a Realtor and they make 2-3% off every home they sell (Priced at $500,000-$1,000,000+) Thats $10,000-$30,000!

Do they really need thousands of views a month to get one client and or sell one home?

The answer is no.





Why?

Because even if they just get 1 lead from the sites I create... that turns into a sale for the year... That will more than pay for a whole years worth of services!

Ok... I don’t want to make a 600 page ebook on just keywords so I am going to just share my approach and you can take it or leave it!

Lets use a real world example of a local business. I will use Plumbers in San Jose California for this example. Now keep in mind I know absolutely nothing about this industry so I will be learning along with you on this one.

Now when I go to Google.com and type in the search bar:

Here is what I get as I am typing:

As you can see Google is telling me what others are actively searching for in oder of most popular relating to my search.

Now I used to sit there and spend hours trying to type everything under the sun to find search phrases to target. Now I use some tools that are available

and automate the process a little. Is it necessary to buy these tools? No. You can still get results without them. I just started using these tools myself about 12 months ago. Prior to that I was just using the Google search bar like in the example above.

I have 2 tools that I bought. Both run on my hosting account so I can use them on my Macbook Pro. If you have a Windows based machine then you can buy a few programs that will run on your hard drive.

I wrote a brief review of them on my blog and they range from as little as $7 to $50 (one time charge).

Can you see how that saved me alot of time and gave me some keywords I would have never thought of? It spit out almost 80 results that the Google Keyword tool wouldn't have given me. Can you now see how I am crushing it using this strategy?

Now if I take 3-4 out of that list and check how hard it would be to rank for them.

Note: The example below is from GL v1.0

So before you go start doing your own searching for those same keywords below... Keep that in mind.

I chose not to waste time creating a bunch of new examples... because the results will be the same. Also when you do a search you will see that all of those keywords bring up more results that I show below.

Why?

Because as soon as I released GL v1.0 everyone that read it... used that exact same search phrase to replicate my results and it was flooded...lol





So... even if I made a new example... it would be less than 2 weeks before it changed as well....lol

I also go over this in more detail in the bonus video.

I found 5 here that I could rank on the first page in 24-48 hours or less! Plus most of them only have 2-3 Google Maps showing up on the page at most!

Keyword: "24 hour plumbing san jose" : 6 results (3 maps)

Keyword: "diamond certified plumber san jose" : 1 results (2 maps)

Keyword: "plumbing san jose emergency" : 6 results (3 maps)

Keyword: "san jose plumber toilet" : 3 results (2 maps)

Keyword: "san jose plumbers emergency" : 1 results (3 maps)

Now obviously there are many other search terms that I could dig in and find. But this is a quick demonstration on my method and normally I would spend about 20-30 minutes finding all the terms I could find in that industry.

One of the best things is that most of the search terms I choose don’t trigger maps. Especially when its in a smaller area. San Jose is a large populated city (945,942 people) here in California.

So you might be asking yourself what does it mean that there is only 1 result when I search: san jose plumbers emergency? You see.. when you search for "san jose plumbers emergency" without quotes it gives you over 2 million results. That is telling Google to give you results that have any of those words in any order in the results it gives you.





Broad search and Phrase search results for “San Jose Plumbers Emergency

Basically it means you are telling Google to show me anything that has those words on the webpage.

Now there are plenty of tutorials and forum threads on the difference between Broad, Phrase, and Exact match searches. So I will not revisit that here. Just know that when you put the quotes around your search phrase like "san jose plumbers emergency". You are only searching for results that have all those keywords together in that order.

Here is the definition according to Google





That is why these tools are so powerful, because you find the searches that no one else knows exist. That is how I can get my clients all over the first pages of Google for multiple search phrases like the above.

The best part is that most of the above search phrases will work in every city! That means if you stick to the Plumbing niche, then you can rinse and repeat everything in minutes and no need to do much more research for keywords.

Offline RockStar Tip

Don’t just focus on what the Google Suggestion tool give you...

Remember to think like a local customer that needs your clients services. What problem are they trying to fix?

Use the Google Suggestion tool to give you ideas... but don’t be limited to only what it gives you.





I like to target search terms that have the words...

Emergency24 hourfastquickPrice or PricingCost or CostsEstimate or EstimatesaffordableDiscountWholesalecheapcouponluxurycustomRatingsReviewsetc...

because this is what people will type in the search bar.

So for example...

For plumbers... I might use the search term “ Affordable Plumbing City Name” or “Discount Plumbing City Name” and so on...

This takes some practice :-)





Buy a Domain Name

Now its time to by that domain name. Decide on which of the above search terms you want to rank and choose that to be your domain. But the good thing about this strategy is this, You can choose any domain and still get traffic. Because we are not using our lease site as the only way to get traffic and calls. We are using classified ad sites, videos, social bookmarking and social media sites to dominate the entire pages!

So for instance you could choose SantaAnaEmergencyPlumbing.com as your domain name, which was available as I was typing this out. But I just bought it after I finished that last sentence above :-)

But I can still dominate the first pages for all of these search phrases:

24 hour plumbing Santa Anadiamond certified plumber Santa Anaplumbing Santa Ana emergencySanta Ana plumber toiletSanta Ana plumbers emergency

How can we do this? Because the power of these sites we will use. Its like that old strategy of link wheels everyone was jumping on just a few years ago with affiliate marketing. Well... some still use this as their strategy.

But we don’t need to build wheels or worry about backlinks. All we are doing is creating a bunch of web properties using these sites to generate traffic





back to our main site. But the cool thing is that alot of people will just call off the links. We will get more into that as we move forward.

Thats about as technical as we are going to get here. Trust me this is so powerful and you will have little to no competition.

And yes this strategy can also be used for affiliate marketing and also promoting products online as well. I have tested it with alot of success with a few projects.

Where do I buy domain names? Namecheap is the only place I buy my domain names now. They are the best and easiest to use that I have found. I don’t care if Godaddy or some other domain registering company is offering 3 cent domains. I will only buy my domains from Namecheap. They ROCK!

Install WordPress

Now its time to install wordpress on your hosting. Now there are plenty of tutorials on doing this all over the web. Just go to YouTube and type in “How To Install WordPress”. You fill find thousands of videos on the subject. I know... because I just checked...lol

Set up your One page WordPress lease site

I suggest creating a 1 page lead capture site to rent out. Not a 3-5 pages site that has all the articles and junk on them. We want to create a good looking site with no distractions with a strong call to action! Which is either to call or email our clients and thats it!

Think about it, when you do a search for something like “home loans” do you see how many advertisers there are on the right side of the page?

Here is a look at the top ads on the right side of that search:

In the above example you can see on the right side are the live results I got when I did a Google search for: Home Loans

When I clicked on the first result that is circled it took me to the landing page you see on the right side. Do you notice how many articles and pages they have on there? None! There is a reason why there are none on that page. Because their goal is to get leads and nothing else.

You see... They have already done all the research and spend thousands to millions of dollars on advertising. Do you think they are going to waste their





money or time on a page that does not convert? Of course not! So that is what we want to emulate here with our 1 page WordPress site.

Now go ahead and click on a few of them. You will see that most of them are just a basic 1 page site with either just a fill in you email, call us, or both. No long articles, no facebook fan pages, no social media icons on the page. They have tested this and it works. It’s a clear call to action!

Now I'm not saying that the other tactics wont work. I mean.. If I get a Plumbing client and they want to brand themselves as the go-to guy in the entire city and wiling to pay my consulting fees, then I will help them. That strategy does work, but it takes alot more time and effort. Most will never want to take on that kind of commitment or pay the money required to set it all up for them.

I have a few realtors and mortgage brokers that paid me thousands to set up a blog that they could brand themselves on. Out of about 20 of those, only 2 are actually using them. Just keep that in mind.

Now as far as themes go, there are plenty of themes to choose from. I had a tough time finding a theme that I liked and was easy to edit. We are working on having one developed (Still in development) but here is a great theme that works awesome and best of all its free!

It is really easy to use and edit. Probably one of the easiest themes I have used. And I have tested and bought alot of themes over the years.

I have been using this theme for more than a year and have even seen other product creators take this theme with my custom CSS tweaks and bundle them into their own products.

Just saying... Its a solid Free theme :-)

Now I want you to know.... That I only created this site as a test and to give you guys something to look at and copy. I didn’t buy any special keyword rich domain name. I didn’t even bookmark it or use anything else to try to get it to rank. It was only up for 24 hours and check out where it was ranking already!





It already has the #3 on the first page of Google! Thats with 946,000 results for that search.

GL v2.0: Today... I hold 3 spots on the first page of Google. Ranks #1, #2, and #3 Spots from the video and test site... and I haven't done anything new to that site or the videos.





Can you see just how powerful this method is! Could you imagine what results I would have gotten if I bought the domain SanJoseLowRateMortgages.com (which was available at the time I wrote this).

Here is another example of this:

The above shortcode will embed the video anywhere you put that. You can change the colors of the video frame and settings globally in easytube settings as well.

Helps your posts and pages get indexed better by the search engines.

Platinum SEO Pack

This is the best plugin I have found for optimizing my sites. It gives you an easy way to choose to index or hide a page from the search engines. As well as writing the title, description, and keywords for the search engines to index and show on the search results.

Shockingly Simple Favicon

Easy way to change the Favicon (little image next to the address bar and tab). Also has a link to create your own or find ones to use.

ViperBar

It creates a little colored text bar at the top of the page where you can put the phone number and call to action again... or use it to post that the site is available for lease as well. See example in bonus video

TinyMCE Advanced

Gives you better options for changing text fonts, sizes, and creating tables and much more. This is an awesome plugin and should be added to every wordpress blog by default.

Also to get your theme to look more like the one I made, you will need to do a little custom CSS tweaking. Don’t worry because I have almost no CSS skills. I only figured it out by Google’n what I wanted to tweak.

Create a Header Image

Now... I'm not a designer so I gave up on trying to create headers myself. Do you need one for this site? No... you could just use the title and tag line at the top which would be fine. Or you can design your own header using your favorite design software.

I personally use a guy I found on fiverr that rocks! He is usually pretty fast and it only costs $5 per header. There are plenty of fiverr providers on there that offer that service.

There are plenty of people that can do headers at a reasonable price.The header size I use for my site is: width 940 x height 220

You can always have them make you a header without text for different niches and you then just add the text in for each city you target in that same industry.

Writing content on your WordPress site

Now I am no copywriting expert. But you want to make the copy on your site compelling enough to get the visitors to take action. Remember those 1 page sites you looked at in the advertising section on Google search results? Do a search for: Plumbers (in any city)

You will see the advertisers on the right side and sometimes at the top. Click on any of those and start collecting some compelling bullets and sentences to use on your site. Now I am not telling you to copy it word for word. I am saying to just get some ideas of what they are using and make it your own. Change and tweak it to work for you site.





Here are a few I found from checking a few sites:

Need a plumber at a price you can afford?

You will want to focus on the pain and pleasure and not just the features.

Two reasons why I recommend getting a virtual number:

1. You own the number

2. It is easy to switch clients in less than 1 minute

Number 2 is the most important.

Here is why:

I had a client that is a painter and I set him up with this package using his 800 number he gave me. after 3 months he called me to tell me that his 800 is not working right and he cancelled it. He then asked if I could please change all the marketing to his new number?

That means that I had to go and change everything to his new number which not only included his main site I created, but his videos, the classified

ads, even the images I used on the classified ad sites. Not to mention when you put the phone number in the title on alot of the classified ad sites, they use that as the url.

That means when I changed the number, all the indexed links were no longer working! That sucks.

Can you see why I now buy a virtual number for all my clients? Now I can just change 1 setting in the virtual number control panel and I can easily switch clients if one cancels.

I use this virtual number for the one page wordpress site, the videos I create, and the classified ads I make. I use it everywhere.

I have done alot of research on virtual numbers and the best one I found is called Phone dot com. They only charge $4.88 for a virtual number. They give you 300 free minutes and the max you will ever have to pay is $18 if your client uses alot of minutes using that number. Most of my clients never go over the 300 minutes only because they let the calls go to voicemail most of the time. Even though I tell them to always answer the phone!





When you buy each line, you must create a whole new account for each client. They don’t have a central control panel for all the numbers you get. I just use their name if its rented out already because you can change it later. But I use my credit card for all the accounts.

Also they give you a $1 credit towards your account for everyone you refer. That means if you refer enough people to each line then you wont be paying for any of the lines.

Another great feature they have... You can create a voicemail greeting using text and select from a menu of voices to read it. I do this for sites I just set up and haven’t assigned to a client yet.

Update: When I started out, I just used the plan I mentioned above. But after having alot of lease sites I decided to upgrade my plan to the Virtual Office plan.

Create a Video

This is not a must but I like to add it to all my lease sites because it gives it more perceived value and also helps get anywhere from 2-4 extra positions on Google first pages when using this strategy.

I usually make a 45 sec to 1 minute video and make them all the same except for the beginning and the end. meaning that I only need to change the Intro to say whatever domain name I am using and change the phone number at the end. This way I can duplicate each city fast!

I have used iMovie, Final Cut, Pro Show Gold, and many more.I now prefer to use Animoto ($39 month) to make my HD videos. I really love this other service called Onetruemedia.com but they don’t allow commercial videos yet. We use them for our family videos that we make.

Hopefully they open it up to commercial use like Animoto did soon.

I highly recommend using Animoto since you get a huge library or royalty free music tracks to go with it.

Because you are using Easy Tube plugin you are able to just post this anywhere on your blog you want a video to show up. How cool is that?

When you upload you video to Youtube don’t forget to add your main search phrase into the title and in the description.

So in the example of “San Jose Low Rate Mortgage”

We would make the title of the video: San Jose Low Rate Mortgage 408-555-1212

Did you notice I added the phone number to the end? This is huge! Why? Because now when Google indexes this video and shows it in their search results, people will see the phone number on the page without even clicking on it! It also makes it stand out more than everyone else's links on that page.

When I own the first page of Google with 7-11 first page links you will see almost all of them with the number on that page. How powerful is that, when someone searches for a Plumber in the city I set up the lease site, the whole page shows one phone number all over the page?

Can you see how your clients will stand out from the rest no matter how many spots they get on the first pages of Google!

We will be doing this for all the sites we set up from now on!

I would also use 3-5 search phrases in the description as well to help you rank for the searches as well.





But remember to start the description field with your url so it shows up without people having to click on drop down when they see it on Youtube. So many people still miss this important step.

Create a Clickable Image Ad

Now its time to create an image ad that we will use on the classified ad sites. I like to use Keynote which is a presentation software for Mac which is like Powerpoint. I just like how I can make them really fast using it. But some of you will use MS Paint, Adobe Illustrator, Paintshop, or something similar. I usually keep the size of the image to around 700-800 wide and anywhere from 600-800 in height.

Note: Some of the ad sites let you easily drag a corner of the image to make it smaller, just like you do with Wordpress. So I usually just use that feature instead of trying to get the image the perfect size for all the sites.

Another option is to hire someone on fiverr to make one for you. I have paid as little as $5 to $50 to have these designed for me. Now I just use a template I made in Keynote.

BONUS: We have included a few of our kick-ass templates that we use for our own lease sites. They are in both Keynote and Powerpoint (ppt & pptx) formats. Be sure to download them.





Note: You get a copy of this template I created in both Keynote and Powerpoint format.

You will need to write some compelling copy to put on the image ad and to use on the classified ad sites. You can use the bullets you made for your site and put those on you image ad.

But you will also want to write 3-4 sentences to be used in the body of the classified ad sites. Just take 3-4 sentences from the WordPress site and spin it a little.

I usually write this out on a word doc or in my case Apple Pages which is like Microsoft Word. I write out the title, the body and put all the keywords on the same doc at the bottom.

As you can see I am putting all of my search phrases at the bottom of this ad. This is so powerful! I know alot of you are thinking “hey thats keyword stuffing! and Google doesn't like that!”

Well I can tell you after 2+ years of doing this, that Google obviously loves me when I do it! lol... But seriously, this works because you are targeting search phrases that no one else knows about. Just make sure to make it look more like a sentence. Like I did in the example above. It doesn't need to make sense when read.

Go ahead and do this now.

Once your image ad is complete. You will now need to make it clickable when submitting it to the classified ad site that allow html.

You will need to either host the image on your server, a free image host like photobucket, or the easiest option is to just use your WordPress site you created to do it all.

We will be focusing on using Wordpress since it speeds up the process.

All you need to do is log into your WordPress site and select the create a “new page” option.

Now just take all your copy and paste it into the body of your WordPress page. Then upload the image and insert it onto the page. Then you just need to make it a hyperlink to your site:http://www.SantaAnaEmergencyPlumbing.com Now you have a clickable image ad! As simple as that!





I will usually make the image a hyperlink and then create an H1 title below the image and make that a hyperlink or anchor text link. Basically you are just selecting the text like:

Santa Ana Emergency Plumbing Services

and then choosing H1 and then making it a hyperlink to:http://www.SantaAnaEmergencyPlumbing.com

This turns it into what called anchor text.

Once you are done creating the body for your classified ad, you will want to select the HTML on wordpress and it will give you the ad with the clickable image, links, and text that you just need to paste into the classified sites.

It will look look something like this:

The html for your image ad will probably look a little different than the one above. I deleted some of the extra html to make it easier for you to see. When you use the HTML from wordpress you can just copy and paste it directly to the ad sites.

Note: Some of the ad sites won’t create the line breaks automatically so I will create 2 versions of the ad.

1. With just the written text

2. With everywhere there needs to be a line break.

Post Some Classified Ads

Now that we have the html and text to use for our classified ad sites we can get rocking on that and get massive Google Love to our site we will lease out.

Why classified ad sites? Because Google Loves them! The reason they rank so well and fast is because they are an authority site and have such a high page rank. You don’t really need to know any more than it works and works awesome! I have made a classified ad for a client and it was on the first page in under 3 minutes! It was for the search phrase: Affordable Local Leads which came back with over 51 million results for that search. Check it for yourself. I still have the #1 spot as of today and I haven't done anything to it since. Hasn't been touched in over 1 year!

Another reason why I say this is all on autopilot is because once you create an account on most of these classified ad sites, you will only need to renew them about once every 30-274 days! Yes... you read that correctly. One of these sites stays active for 9 months! Also... most of the other ones will email you when your ad is about to expire, and you just click the link to renew. You don’t have to re-write anything! How cool is that?Ok.... lets get rocking on this!





I am not going to go much more into this other than where to go to place ads. Mainly because it should be somewhat self explanatory on how to post a classified ad. If you need further instructions then you can always sign up for our Offline RockStar Academy membership that will take you step by step on how to set up accounts and little tricks that I have learned along the way. Otherwise this would take up another 50-70 pages to breakdown.

Now there are many other classified ad sites that are available. But these are the main ones I use now. Sites like Craigslist make it really tough to use now a days and in my experience don’t rank very well compared to the others in Google searches.

Also make sure that you pick the right category in services for your industry you your posting in. If you post a service like Plumbing in the Real Estate services section it will either be flagged or moved to the correct section. The problem if its moved, is that the link you are going to blast out will no longer work and go to a page not found error. So make sure you post in the correct sections of services.

Offline RockStar Tip:

Do a quick search on each classified ad site for the same service you are trying to post to find out what categories others are successfully posting in. For example... if I want to post an ad for a Plumbing Service using

backpage. I would just go to backpage and search for other ads with the keyword Plumber in it. I can then see what categories others have posted in for that same service. Obviously I want to check a few of them and make sure they have been live for at least a few days, which tells me no one flagged them :-)

Also keep in mind that some sites might not allow a certain type of service. For instance, I had created an ad for my Mortgage Broker client on OLX and they had deleted my entire account! No warning or anything! They said that they did not allow finance ads of any kind and I could create a new account. That means that all 20+ of my posts were all deleted and I had to create new ones.

Just make sure when you post on these sites to use the keywords in the title and include the phone number in the title which is so powerful when someone is looking for a local service by doing a Google search. With your number in the title it will show that phone number 4-11 times on that page! Who do you think will stand out?

Take a look for yourself!

If someone is searching online for a local house painter. Which of the two stands out the most? If you answered the one with the phone number in the title, then you are correct! Now imagine if you had 4 to 11 first page listings all with the phone number in the title like in the above example. Thats some Google Love!





So your title should look something like this:

Santa Ana Emergency Plumbing Services 714-555-1212

Now go ahead and paste the rest of the ad you wrote in the body, but make sure when using the html that you choose the insert html tab on the ad sites.

It will look like this on OLX and similar on others that allow html:

Now its up to you if you want to use the same title with the one search phrase or if you want to spread them out. I usually just use the one. But I have mixed them up in the past and if I am trying to get more eyeballs to my





client. But since you have the easy to rank for search phrases in the body of your site, video, and classified ads you will show up for pretty much all of them between 3-11 times in my experience.

Get Some Real Google Love!

For those of you that either forgot what I said in lesson #3 or skipped it...

Let me share this email I sent out, after people starting screaming “the sky is falling!” because Pixelpipe closed new registrations temporarily:

Those of you that have been wondering what to do when Pixelpipe closes new registrations temporally.

First off let me start with something that I just posted inside themembers area of the Offline RockStar Academy:

With all the people worried about duplicate content, backlinking,Pixelpipe closing new registrations... etc

Here is a little test I just did a few days ago.

- I created an ad using ClassifiedAds.com

- I just copied all the same ads, text, and keywords I made for my current client in a different city and pasted it in other cities.





I know some of you are you thinking... “Oh Noooo..... What about the duplicate content hammer from Google?” lol...

- I then only changed the city name because I was targeting a newcity for my client. So... the entire ad was exactly like the 7-10other ads I made for him with the exception of the city name only.

Results?

- In less than 5 minutes it was already on the first page of Googlein the #3 spot without using Pixelpipe, Pingfm, Hellotxt or anything else....

- In about 2-3 days the ad got de-indexed by Google and wasntshowing up anywhere. (The Google Dance)

- In about 1-3 days after that it popped back up and was now in the#1 Spot on that first page of Google and still there today!

End of Story ;-)

So you see that using services like Pixelpipe, Pingfm, or Hellotxt can help...

But its not the end of the world if they shut down the doors or disappear as many services do sometimes.

Note: Pixelpipe can get “ban happy” and delete your Pixelpipe account if they feel you are spamming. I havent had an account deleted yet.... (knock on wood). So... Just be careful not to post too many times at once or too many links at once etc.

We honestly do not have a magic answer or number for you, on how much to post. So... please don’t ask... lol

Even if they delete your account... you are still signed up for the social media sites and can just give all that info to someone on fiverr and they should be able to set it all back up for you again.

Also Note: If Pixelpipe or any of the above services closes the doors to new registrations... Be sure to search Fiverr for providers that still know how to set up new accounts.

Just keep in mind that posting with these tools will create blog posts as well. So I usually take the text that I created for my ads and I post that in the body and put all the links at the bottom of that. because some of bookmarks and social sites will rank in Google so you don’t want them looking all gibberish when someone sees them. I also use the title with the number in it as well.

It is so simple that so many of my one on one consulting clients just feel that something must be missing because it is just too damn easy!

Well the truth is this, it all starts with your search phrases that you target. You see, we have a window of opportunity here. Most do not know how to use the keyword suggestion tool for local searches and still stick with the old Google Adwords Keyword tool that holds back so many search phrases that are searched on a daily basis.

What To Charge

RockStar Ben Here...Alright, before Dr. Dan shows you his pricing strategy and goes into the way he does it, I want to share with you my simple strategy...

My simple formula is this.

Pick the right niche! I am not trying to beat a dead horse here. Rather, I am beating on a fluffed poodle! :-)

Seriously, you want to pick a niche that pays. A niche that has money.

The minimum I want to get for each site I lease is $600 per month. That’s the rock bottom, as I usually aim for $1,000+. Let’s stick with $600 to keep it simple...

Okay, so the niche I will pick needs to make at least 3 times what I would charge per month from one deal they would close.

So, if their average ticket price, in this example, is under $1,800 - I’d move on... Easy enough, right? :-)

Back to you, Dr. Dan...





So now that you have all this down you are ready to start rocking on this!

The only other 3 things left to do are this:

#1 Create 1-2 sites and get massive Google Love to them!

#2 Rent them out

#3 Rinse and repeat

I already gave you all the steps required to set up a one page WordPress site and get massive Google Love to it. So you should do that before moving on to the next step.

Here is how I like to do this now. First I create 1-2 sites using all the steps I already gave you. After I do this and have at least 1-2 sites in one niche like “Plumbing” example. I then start contacting Plumbers to rent it to. Now alot of you are thinking why don’t I just create 10-20 of these site first and then start renting them out? Well... here is the reason why I don’t recommend doing this.

Because if you set up lets say 10 sites for different cities, you will find out that you will get a Plumber that does want your service but they want to market in a whole different city than the ones you already created.

Even though they were buying adwords or they were actively marketing in the city I set up, they still wanted a different city. So I had a client that wanted to hire me, but now I have to do one from scratch.

After you get 4 or 5 clients like this, you will wonder “why didn’t I just create one as an example and then create them as I get clients?” That is much easier. This has happened to me a few times, so I am trying to save you from making the same mistake.





So here is what I do, I first set up one site, create that video, and create all the ads for that city that I am targeting.

I then blast it all using hellotxt, Ping.fm and or Pixelpipe.

After about 24-48 hours I go back and take screenshots using Snagit of all the pages I am ranking on more than 2-3 times. You will see that the search phrase that you chose for your title will already have you all over the first page if you chose that search phrase wisely. But the other search phrases sometimes take a few days to start ranking which is normal. But just go back a couple times a week and take screenshots as it grows.

Now you can start calling and emailing potential clients and show them real results that you are getting for their competition in that industry. That is why I say to stick to one industry at a time. It is alot faster to build your client list. You can also rent out more than one city to one client if they want. Pricing is really going to matter on a few factors.

#1 What industry you choose#2 What are you willing to rent it out for?

You saw that RockStar Ben keeps it at $600-1000+ per month with his sites, and he has no trouble getting it consistently, so go for it! I personally don’t go less than $100. I have only one client that pays me $100 a month which was my first client. All the other ones pay me between $197 to $400 per month.

If you want to charge higher price, go for high-prices niches and avoid those poodle fluffers! You can price yourself higher, but I prefer to keep it affordable so that they stay with me longer, refer more clients to me, and are easy to manage.









This is where my strategy is slightly different from Ben’s. I know he has his methods that work for him with higher priced sites. I personally go for really easy to rank niches and have no problem working for a couple hours to grab a mid-level price from my Google Love Sites...

That is why I target the clients that are not as tech savvy and think they can’t afford internet marketing services. Because most of the time they have been asked to pay $500-$2,000 per month for SEO services. I would rather come in like the hero and offer them a better service for only $197 to $400 and then move on to the next client.

Think about this, how many clients do you need to pay your bills or make your target income? Im not talking about your dream income. I am talking about how much do you want to make now? $1,000 a month, $2,000 a month, $3,000 a month, or $4,000+ ?

If you just needed to make $2,000 a month to start, then look at it like this:

$2,000 divided by $200 = 10 clients

$2,000 divided by $400 = 5 clients

Now you can see that if charged them $400 per month you could cut your time in half to reach your goal of $2,000. But I have 2 questions for you.

#1 How much extra work will it take you to sell them on $400 opposed to $200 a month.

#2 How long will they be able to budget $400 a month with any other marketing they are paying for?

Now, a lot of people will make all kinds of valid arguments to this. But this is what works for me, and my clients are not only happy, but more than 90% of them have stayed with me since I signed them up nearly a year ago. Hows that for customer retention?





You see... they are used to paying $400-$1,200 a month for Yellow Pages and other traditional marketing. So for only $200 a month it is a no-brainer for them.

I actually don’t charge them $200, I usually stick to the $97 rule. Where I only charge either $197, $297, or $397 etc. It works! Even though you know $197 is only $3 shy of $200, it still feels like its not.

If you need to make some quick cash...

Another offer I have been toying with for about 2 months that has been working really well is this:

A few weeks ago I had a new project that I wanted to fund but didn’t have the extra cash to use for it at the time. So I decided to run a little test.

The next 5 clients I met with, I gave them the following options to sign up with me:

#1 Month to Month at $197 per month#2 Pre-Pay 6 months at $197 and get 1 month for free = $1,182#3 Pre-Pay 12 months at $197 and get 2 months free = $2,364

Two of them chose the 6 month plan and two of them chose the month to month plan. The last person is still thinking about it. Which is fine because I already rented the city he wanted to target for his niche.

But can you see how in just those 3 days I was meeting with those clients I had made $2,758. I haven't even set up the sites yet! While others are still reading the next hot WSO or Offline Marketing product and trying to set up a bunch of sites and then rank them over the next 3-6 months to rent. I have





just made $2,758 leasing sites out that I haven’t even set up yet! Now I will spend the next 2 days setting up the sites and ranking them. I usually do no more than 2 a day because I get bored doing too much typing and techie type stuff. I like to get out and interact with people.

The 2 people I set up on the 6 month pre-pay are set up in Paypal so they paid $1,182 instantly and after 7 months will be automatically billed at $197 per month on auto-pilot. I will explain how to do that in the next section.

But it is so important that you understand that I will never take on a client unless they pay me with paypal using the subscription option. The only way I would make that exception is if they paid me 2 years in advanced. That would be the only way I would accept a check or not require them to use Paypal.

I made this rule is for one reason and one reason only...

Because I don’t want to be in the bookkeeping business. I do not want to deal with invoicing or trying to track my payments owed. I know they have all kinds of tracking and invoicing services out there, but trust me on this, I only need to send them one link one time , they pay it, and I get the money the same day every single month! Do not bend the rules because it is not worth it!

Remember: when you sign up for any merchant account, never classify yourself as SEO. You will do better to refer to yourself as a business/









marketing consultant, which is the truth and keeps you away from the scrutiny of all the scams of the SEO industry.

Paypal Recurring Payments

After you get a client that wants to pay you, here is how you will make sure that you don’t ever have to invoice them and have everything on autopilot. By now you should have your Paypal Business or at least Premier account set up. If not just come back to this once its ready.

Obviously if you plan on using PaySimple... then you can skip this step.

We are going to need to set up the subscription button to either embed on personal marketing site or you can just send them a link in an email. I have done both with no problems. Most of the time now, I just email them and include the link to the paypal payment page.

But I like to use pretty link plugin for wordpress to make it look nicer than the one paypal provides. You can upload pretty link to your marketing blog and test it out if you haven’t used it before.
