How to share a lesson? Student lessons are stored privately and only visible to the class and teacher. To share work with others you must use a “Copy Lesson Link” option to get the URL. How to email a lesson? Click on “My lessons” screen, tap the share button (topright) and tap the email icon on the lesson to share. Download or export? Not available at this time. You can do a screenrecording of your lesson. Image formats? You can use JPEG, PNG, GIF and a few others. You can add images from Dropbox. Animation? Click one of your images and drag it, resize or rotate it around to animate it while recording.

Getting  Started  

1. Go  to  www.educreations.com  and  signup  (free)  as  a  new  user2. Select  TEACHER  for  your  account  –  if  your  school  doesn’t  appear  on  the  list,  you  will

be  asked  to  add  it  to  the  database.3. You’re  ready  to  go  to  create  a  new  course

On  the  iPad  1. Go  to  the  Apple  App  store  and  search  for  educreations2. Download  the  application  (free)  and  open  it3. Tap  the  gear  at  the  top  of  the  screen  to  see  a  menu  of  settings

a. You  can  connect  it  with  your  Dropbox  account,  Facebook  or  Twitter  accountsb. Dropbox  is  handy  for  adding  images  which  you  upload  to  your  Dropbox  account  and

then  easily  access  with  the  iPad4. Tap  on  the  New  Lesson  button  to  get  started

5. Adding  your  lesson  to  your  coursea. On  your  iPad  (or  computer)  log  into  your  accountb. View  all  of  your  lessonsc. Locate  any  lesson  you  want  to  add  to  your  course  and  select  EDIT  Lessond. Then  add  it  to  any  of  your  courses

Tips  before  recording  your  video:  1. Once  you  have  decided  what  your  presentation  will  cover,  prepare  a  couple  of  slides  for

practice  so  that  you  can  edit  or  change  them.  2. Record  your  video  and  PAUSE  throughout  to  set  up  the  next  slides,  to  annotate  the  images,

or  for  a  breather.  3. Preview  your  video  before  saving.

Sharing  your  lessons  • You  can  share  your  lessons  through  the  settings  (Privacy  setting)• On  the  iPad  go  to  the  “My  Lessons”  page  after  clicking  Done.  Click  on  the  Share  button  which

opens  4  options  (bottom  left  of  the  screen)o Email  or  direct  students  to  the  link.  They  will  need  to  sign  up  to  watch  the  lessons.  If

you  have  allowed  comments,  they  can  ask  questions  for  a  discussion  within  thecourse

• Embed  your  lesson  on  a  webpage,  wiki,  blog…o To  display  all  the  lessons  on  the  iPad,  click  on  the  top  right  tab  which  says  “Hello

yourname”    to  display  your  lessons  (they  won’t  appear  in  course  categories)o Click  on  the  course  to  share  and  choose  the  option  desired  (bottom  right)

• Post  the  URL  on  a  webpage• Email  the  link  to  someone• Students  can  ONLY  share  lessons  by  copying  the  URL  or  by  sending  it  by  email
