  • Who were the Pony Express? The men who worked in the Pony Express were expert horseback riders. They were under 18, so they would be light weight. They where skinny and scrawny and preferred to be orphans.

  • What did they do? They brought mail to people from east to west. They rode on ponies and passed each other the letters so it only took 10 days to get the letters from east to west! They did many things to send mail, and the they risked there lives to do it!

  • Why did they do it? There was no one to send mail at that time so the Pony Express was formed. They did it because there was no fast way to send letters. People wanted to send packages to each other.

  • When did they do the Pony Express? They only did it for one and a half years. It started in 1860. It ended in 1861. TIK- TOK
