A BRAND-NEW DISPLAYWhen you look at a watch, what you usually want to see first is the time, and it is this insight that lies behind the creative process. The Crazy Wheel collection boasts a style dedicated to telling the time and its name pays tribute to the built-in sub counter that revolves around the dial. The hours are

displayed on a counter that remains attached to the minute hand. The display is carried out by a bridge that rotates through 360 degrees around the minute markers. This automatic movement is showcased by the iconic faceted case, an element that makes the brand immediately recognizable.

For the special Maori version, the case is engraved with tattoos emblematic of Maori culture. The crown has been ergonomically designed for ease of handling.

In order to guarantee the quality of these watches, Franck Dubarry has used the most innovative technologi-cal materials, such as carbon, Kevlar and grade 5 titanium. The controlled balance of this combination gives the watch an unmistakably technical look. This aspect is further enhanced by a multitude of details: the design of the

hands is inspired by aeronautics, while their tips decorated with Luminova allow them to be read day or night.

Where the strap meets the case beneath the lug has been specially worked for an ergonomic feel. The Elastogator® strap combined with a folding titanium buckle underlines the

relaxed character of the Crazy Wheel collection. These watches are just as at home with a tuxedo in the evening as with jeans and a t-shirt during the day. With Crazy Wheel, the Franck Dubarry brand is showing another side to its rich personality.

EXPLORING A TECHNICAL STYLE

THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND THE HOMO TEMPUS On the back of the case, the sculpture of an active man expresses his relationship with time. For the designer, the Homo Tempus represents the digital man, who manages his time

through technology. He juggles his professional and personal activities. He devours time in order to leave his mark on it. The designer believes a man’s actions express his freedom,

a key value in artistic creativity. This collection consists of six different styles.

Franck Dubarry decided to return to the watchmaking industry to create a new and eponymous brand with one simple ambition: to create a luxury watch brand that dares to be different in an industry built on extremely traditional codes. Franck Dubarry watches are designed for men and women who love freedom, wide-open spaces and pure design that can withstand the test of time.

They are the accessory an extensive traveler would want to wear in vast lands where social constraints are a figment of the imagination. Their sole aim is to grow the emotions created through the history of the relationship in the eye of the wearer.

Franck Dubarry loves to create innovative designs and combinations, as he proved when he was in charge of TechnoMarine. No less than 1000 watches created in less than 10 years. He was, in fact, the first to combine colorfull synthetic materials used in combination with diamonds to create sports watches. He is now developing a brand that bears his own personal values, the result of his training, experience and extensive travels. The most innovative techniques are used as a base for his creative aspirations.

More generally, his different collec-tions embody freedom to be oneself in a world that tends towards unifor-mity. His vision offers the possibility to choose an accessory that reflects an aesthetic and personal choice.

2015 Franck Dubarry unveiled his first collec-tion, Crazy Balls, with a revolutionary (patented) sophisticated complication that is unique, symbolizing technical freedom. This was followed by the Crazy Colors collection that offers an explosive cocktail, the combination of a chronograph, usually a male compli-cation, and semi-precious stones.

2016Franck Dubarry launched his iconic collection, the Revolution Fileteado. He drew his inspiration from Argentina, from which he borrowed from the early Italian immigrant during the 1020’s both the Art Nouveau and calavera art movements. An audacious collection of dashing creativity, it affirms the designer’s desire to bring a new perspective to the watchmaking industry. At the same time, he also designed a more sporty collection, the “Intrepidus” collection, consisting of three ranges: Racer, Rider and Diver. The perfect companion for an active lifestyle, these watches offer a stylish design paired with an incredibly varied choice of colors.

2017 To coincide with Baselworld 2017, the brand is picking up the pace and offering two new collections: Crazy Wheel and Yin Yang.

The Crazy Wheel line is fitted with a rotating bridge. The minutes are displayed using a bridge that rotates 360 degrees around the dial and the hour is located in a sub-counter that also rotates around the dial.

The Yin Yang is a collection inspired by Franck Dubarry’s passion for martial arts and their symbols: the koi carp and the lotus flower. This delicate collection boasts a sculpted mother-of-pearl dial, proving that yet again the designer knows how to use technolo-gy to get the best out of his ideas!
