The theme of this novel is to

stay true to yourself.

Individuality is a big part of

the plot because Anna feels

as though she is part of Kate.

Finding peace within yourself

should come first.

Another lesson throughout the

book is to appreciate

everything and EVERYONE

you are blessed with. Sara

seems to ignore Jesse and

Anna, and in the end she

wishes she hadn’t done that

so much.
