  • I arrived at the airport at 7:30 pm after my five hour flight from Detroit to San Jose, Costa Rica. We rent the car from the airport at 8:30. I drove to the hotel and got there by 9:00. Right after driving to the hotel, I ate dinner at the caf in the hotel. I ordered a bean and rice burrito here, which is a very popular food here. I ate my dinner and went to my room. I got in the shower to get freshened up before I slept. By 10:30 I got in bed.

  • I woke up at 9:30 and ordered room service for breakfast. I had a nice big pancake breakfast with bacon. I went to my car and drove to downtown San Jose. There is a ziplining facility in downtown San Jose. After about an hour and a half zip-ling, I go get a bite to eat at around 12:40. I made reservations at a restaurant called Park Caf. I ordered a Casado, a Costa Rican dish that includes rice, black beans, plantains, salad, a tortilla, and an optional entre that may include chicken, beef, pork, and fish. After an hour at lunch, I drove back to the hotel to rest. At 5:30, after I had my rest, I found a nice nightclub called Studio Hotel to chill at for a while and met a nice woman to talk to for some time. At 11:00, I decided it was time to hit the sack and go home. By 12:00, I got in bed.

There is many breakfast choices to choose from, but I just ordered an omelet. The omelet has sausage, bacon and cheese. I went in my car to the kayaking rental place. An instructor went with me to help me out, since it was my first time. I went through the Yorkin river. There were many cool mountains and hot springs. After a few hours, I went zip lining. There was a zip lining place across a swamp and it was really cool. After zip lining I had a little snack which was chips with a very delicious black bean dip. for dinner at a fancy restaurant. At around 9:00, I went to the casino and hung out with some ladies that I met. At midnight it was time to go home and sleep.

  • I woke up at 8:40 then got dressed, brushed my teeth and hair, took a shower, and I was out the door to my car. I was driving to a amazing island tour and cruise for the whole day. It was rated one of the best cruises in the country. This was by far the best cruise in the world. It had spectacular food, fun activities, romantic evenings ( ), and many more. One of the first things I did one the cruise was indoor surfing and played a quick game of mini-golf. After that I went to the all you can eat buffet and watched a very tragic but romantic movie. The next event that happened was one of my favorite the big screen Xbox battles which I was playing Call of Duty. And what ends this trip was the amazing spectacular Blue Man group. Before I went home and went to bed I had a quick meal called beef tamales they were amazingly good. And after that I got off the cruise and went to my hotel and went to bed.

We checked into our amazing and fancy hotel. They even had chocolates, mints, and candy in the bathroom. Today I was going on a Veraguas Rainforest day tour, and also going horseback riding after the tour. The rainforest tour was a great experience to be outdoors it was a refreshing feeling. The horseback riding was a very bumpy ride on the horse but fun. During the rainforest tour we went hiking, to see the butterfly garden, and to the species exhibits. Next after those awesome activities I had Arroz con Pollo dinner this meal is one of the most popular dishes in Costa Rica. After these very fun day I went into my cozy warm bed and fell asleep.

  • I woke up at my hotel at 6:00 in the morning so I could drive to my hotel in Limon. It is a three hour drive, which is why I woke up so early. When I arrived at my hotel in Limon, called Park Hotel, I arrived at about 9:30, because I had to stop at McDonalds for some breakfast. I had a long drive, so I decided to sleep in. I woke up at 11:30 and drove to this place called Jungle Adventure. It is a ropes course in the forest 50 feet above the ground. I get to go on a canoe ride along the carbon river to get there. After 4 hours of ropes courses, I wanted to go home, because this would be my last night here, I wanted to enjoy the city. I packed my things so I would be able to leave in the morning without packing. I drove to the downtown Limon city tour. It was very nice and beautiful. After some nice time enjoying the city, I went home to sleep.

  • I wanted to have a relaxful morning without having to worry about getting up and doing anything. I woke up at 11:00 and thought about everything I had done on my trip. It was so great and I will definitely do this again. I got in my car and drove to San Jose to return my car back to the car rental. It took my three hours, because I took a scenic route that goes through lots of nice forests. I got back on my plane and just slept to relax. It felt so good to be back home, but sad because I loved it there.

  • The person I have interview was a very middle aged man, in his late 30s, who has lived in Costa Rica his whole life. He went by the name of Jose Alonso. He said he loved the food in Costa Rica, and one of his favorite dishes is called Gallo Pinto ( a hearty meal made up of rice mixed with black beans, all served up alongside sour cream, scrambled eggs and fried plantain). He also said he interested in a lot of sports like baseball, and soccer (football). How Jose and I met was when I was at my first restaurant in Costa Rica, me and him talked a bunch at that restaurant and became friends. The one thing he dislikes is how there is not so many professional sports teams in Costa Rica. But he says other than that he loves the country of Costa Rica.
