Assemble and glue half rings usingTiteBond II.Secure with clamp using dowels between the 2 halves.

True up faces of ring halves on sanding wheel to ensure tight seam when gluing the 2 halves together.

Sand faces of rings.

When squiggly pencil line around face of ring is gone, face is true.

Stack and glue each ring according to size of each ring.

Use heavy weights or clamps to compress glue joints between rings to ensure tight joints.

Finally, glue bottom of bowl to stack of rings.

Complete the glue-up by gluing the waste block with flange to stacked rings. Let glue cure overnight before turning.

Checking interior surface for rough areas, and refine with turning tools and sandpaper.

Final sanding.Work thru grits until you achieve a fine smooth surface. Apply finish before reverse chucking.

After interior sanding, part off waste block and reverse mount bowl to finish turning bottom.

Always add your signature, along with types of wood (Cherry, maple, and tiger maple), and date.
