Tendonitis can affect anyone but is common in adults if they are active in sports and Elderly because their tendons

are aged and have lost some elasticity.

Causes

The most common cause is from playing sports by; Over using a tendon Injuring a tendon

Tendonitis can also be caused by certain antibiotics such as; Levofloxacin ciprofloxacin

Treatments

Pain killers to help stop swelling and pain such as; Aspin Ibuprofen

Adequate rest, RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevation), Whirlpool, Ultrasound methods to relax muscles, or injecting steroids
