REBOUND: acquire the ball after a missed shot

JUMP BALL: game begins with a ball thrown up in the middle of the court

DOUBLE DRIBBLE: dribbling with two hands simultaneously or picking up the ball

Dribbling Two ball dribbling dramatically increase

a player’s dribbling and ball handling abilities.

It also helps a player develop great one on one moves. This happens because after you force your mind/body to perform a really difficult task with a basketball, just dribbling one become a lot easier.

Shooting When shooting a basketball you should

use your dominant hand to shoot the ball, and use your other hand to balance the ball.

When you release the ball from your hand your hand should form the shape of a goose being hung.

Lay-Ups

When making a lay up you need to jump off of one foot and lay the ball up with the opposite hand. You should be approaching the basket quickly on your dominant side.

Dunking When you perform a dunk you jump up

into the air toward the basketball hoop and without letting go of the ball you slam it into the basket.

There are many different ways you can dunk a ball but there is only one original way, and that is facing toward the basket and slamming the ball into the basket with two hands.
