Population

•Since 1972 fewer children have been born in Switzerland than is necessary for continued population growth. In 1998 there were more deaths than births in Swiss citizens •According to a forecast in 2004, between 2003 -2012 the number of children going to school will be will decrees about 100,000 kids •Since 1993 the number of Swiss citizens has increased only because of the number of tourists have been welcomed.

9.51 births/1,000 population (2012 est.) Life expectancy for men is 79.8 years and for

women it is 84.4 years. Life expectancy has increased over previous years primarily due to easily available medical support across the country.

Death Rate

Death rate has been slowly decreasing in Switzerland because of medical support. Women tend to live a little bit longer just because men are usually but not always the ones doing the hard physical work.

Infant mortality rate

As you can see the infant mortality rate in around 9.7-10.3. So around 10 children die when they are born each year through (2000-2007)

The life expectancy of a person in Switzerland is 82.70 years (2011). People have been ;lasting longer because of industrialized cities that means more medicine and technology. Switzerland blue line

Since Switzerland has no natural resources, education and knowledge have become very important resources. So Switzerland claims to have one of the world's best education systems

In Switzerland, every child must attend at least elementary school.

The unemployment rate has been gradually decreasing because there has been more industrializing that means more jobs for people.

The average amount per capita 50,000 per capita that is a high amount of money. I think because they take education very seriously people gain more money.

Goverment type

Switzerland's federal administration is governed by the so called Federal Council, which consists of seven Councillors. These are elected by parliament, which is also elected by the public.

Each Councillor heads is in charge of one of the seven federal departments Since the Councillors are elected by the parliament, this leads to four large parties.
