CENSORSHIP IN SCHOOLS AND
LIBRARIESBy Michael Lowry, Lauren Carr, Lilly
Paxton, and Dontaonia Christy
THE PROBLEM These days there are lots of filters
censoring the internet at schools and libraries.
Some of the stuff that is blocked shouldn’t be blocked.
YOUTUBE Some times sites are blocked that
sometimes shouldn’t be. YouTube can have some really good
information.
REASONS Some websites are blocked because
they use words and pictures that are not appropriate for school.
Kids should be able to go on any website and should have the common sense to not stay on a site that has inappropriate information.
RIGHTS According to the Bill of Right we have
the right to view all information on the internet.
So, we should be able to view and post any items on the web.
THANKS FOR WATCHING!!!
