HabitatThe mountains where they live are
covered with forests of edible bamboo.The Panda’s habitat has many streams,
rivers and waterfalls.
DietPanda’s eat bamboo shoots, stems and leaves.These big animals eat up to 85 poundsTibetan legend suggest the panda drinks
so much water that they become drunk
Place in the Food ChainA Giant Panda is a herbivore. This means
they only eat plants.
Why is this Animal Endangered?In China people are poaching the pandas.Pandas are hunted for their beautiful black
and white fur.When people move into panda’s habitat and
chop down the bamboo, the panda die.
