Background/History of Terrorism
Terrorism by no means is a new thing, it has been going on since early Greece.
Terrorism has been used from anything to overthrowing a Roman Emperor to scaring Ethnic Minorities.
Terrorism remains to be a problem today because terrorist use violence and cruelty to get what they want it must be stopped.
Reasoning of Terrorism Terrorism is a simple effective way for a
person or a group to get their ideas through.
Terrorism through history has proven to be effective to serve many different purposes like destroying governments to scaring whole nations.
Religion and/or pride in your country can be another reason.
Current Status of Terrorism
In 2004 there were 588 terrorist attacks, 1,441 deaths, and 2,935 injuries.
Analysis
As seen by the graph terrorism is only getting worse.
Over 1,441 people died from terrorist attacks in 2004 alone, this needs to end.
Solution for Terrorism
International Counter-Terrorist Agency- This would include many things like counter-terrorist “commando” units from around the world, a specialized team who knows how to deal with the politics of terrorism and where to spot a attack before it happens.
Predictions for Terrorism
Terrorism will continue to be a problem as long as there are people with violent extremist ideals.
If the world “Counter-Terrorist Agency” were imposed we could see a extreme drop in terrorist activity.
How to implement the solution.
Many countries would have to support this idea and give a large budget to fund this Agency.
It would have to have a large support basis to have it work out.
