examples of the dynamic characters in this story.
This story also has it’s static characters and a few of those characters are President Snow, and Johanna.

MY LIKES AND DISLIKES
I loved how Katniss struggled over loving Peeta because she knew she would probably die in the
hunger games. I liked how the book was filled with action but also filled with complex conflicts and
storyline. The only thing I don’t like about this book is that it had to end.
POINT OF VIEW
The story is written from a first person point of view. Katniss is the omnipotent narrator in this story. In this
story we know all about Katniss’ thoughts and why she is thinking them. Though the story is limited somewhat
because we do not know how the other characters feel or think.
LITERARY DEVICES
The author of uses foreshadowing in several cases, but all the cases are too important to the end to reveal. She
also uses a few bits of irony throughout the story as well.
RECOMMENDATION
I recommend this book to anyone who has read Hunger Games and wants to read on in this series of love,
action, deceit, and rebellion.
