Region (Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and SRLDC)

• Owners of the Project : TN SLDC, APSLDC, SLDC KPTCL, SRLDC For respective package

• Consultant : POWERGRID and Project shall be handed over to respective SLDCs and SRLDC upon completion.

• Funding for the project shall be from Ministry of Power Gross Budgetary Support (GBS) allocation.

• For the purpose of all procurement activities related to the said project POWERGRID shall be referred to as ‘Employer’.

• Payments shall be made by POWERGRID. However, POWERGRID intends to use fund to be provided by Ministry of Power through Gross Budgetary Support for eligible payments under the contracts for subject package.

Functional Scope of REMCs

• Setting up of SCADA, Forecasting Tool & Scheduling Tool systems

• Integration of existing and New RTUs/DCPC/AMR to collect data from pooling stations.

• Integration of REMC with existing main & backup xLDC SCADA System

• Data exchange with Forecasting and Scheduling tools & FSP interface

• Providing RE information to its concerned xLDC for dispatching and balancing RE power
