The London Eye

• The world's highest observation. As you rise to an incredible 135 metres above the River Thames, the 30 minute rotation provides stunning panoramic views of the city and reveals parts of London which are simply not visible from the ground.

• Each capsule is fully enclosed, air-conditioned and holds up to 25 passengers.

Tower of London

• Founded in 1066-7, today the Tower of London is one of the world's most famous and spectacular fortresses and home to the Crown Jewels.

The crown jewels

• The most famous exhibits in the Tower of London are the Crown Jewels. Finest of all is the Royal Sceptre, containing the world's largest cut diamond, the 530 carat Star of Africa. The Imperial State Crown, made for Queen Victoria in 1837 and worn today by Queen Elizabeth II when she opens Parliament is studded with 3,000 jewels

• Tower Bridge has stood over the River Thames in London since 1894 and is one of the finest, most recognisable bridges in the World.

• At Madame Tussaud’s you will experience what it is like to be famous as you join a host of the world’s hottest celebrities

London Zoo

Buses

• The double-decker buses, which dominate the urban public transport in London where the red bus is even a tourists' attraction. The history of double-deckers seems to date back to the 19th century, when the horse-drawn omnibuses had seats on the roof.

• Buckingham Palace is the official London home of The Queen and was built in 1702.
