A DAY IN THE EYES OF THE STUDENT.

My favourite day was on Thursday because we went to Thornbury and had a hot chocolate. Next we went to the park and we all played tag together. Then we went shopping to find things with Union Jacks on them. After that we went into the library and looked at some books. Then we walked past SpecSavers and we each got a glasses case with a balloon

in it. After that we went back on the coach to go back to school. On the coach we had a balloon party. Finlay hit Mrs Roberts on the head. Maddi and Lottie hit each other on the head we also made up silly sentences; it was really fun. When we got back to school we painted some tyres and put some flowers in them. Then we all went back upstairs and Maddi, Lottie and Abbi went

had a leaving assembly to say goodbye to all the Comenius visitors. After school all the host families, teachers and visitors had afternoon tea. While all the teachers were saying goodbye we went bowling and had KFC.GOODNIGHT!

and told Miss Gregory that we went to SpecSavers and that we got a free balloon. At lunch we sat with our host families and ate pizza. Then we finished off painting the tyres and after played a game of football; we won! Before everyone went home we

During their stay a few Wheatfield students were kind enough to host the foreign students.

Finlay said he missed them and hoped to see them in a few years.

Mark said he wishes them all a good future and hopes to see them soon.

Farewell! See you again one day!

BUSES, BIKES and FEET! The typical British weather didn’t stop us visiting the city sites on an open top tour of the city of Bristol. We loved seeingour city from a bird’s

perspective and were proud to find out that Blankets were invented in our home town!!! Mrs Brown, Mrs Midlane, Miss Gregory and Mrs Roberts stayed on top of the bus for the whole journey – they got cold and a bit wet but had a lot of fun! Mark and Fin stuck it out for a very long time too!

The school’s active ambassadors introduced themselves and explained their role in encouraging the whole school community to

get involved in reducing our impact on the environment by travelling to school in environment-ally friendly ways!

Everyone loved learning traditional English and Scottish country dances. Year 3, 5 and 6 joined with teachers, international students and Comenius partner teachers to perform their

WE ALL STAND TOGETHER!

The teachers involved in the project have got to know each other really well during the first 2 mobilities to Poland and England.

They seem to be really enjoying the project so far and hope that their schools and students have a good time too!

InsideEveryone has become good friends already and when the work is done and the tasks are agreed, agendas met and reports written, it is time to reflect on the

people we meet and lifelong friendships that are made along the way. Coming soon…
