Most people have this perception that success is equivalent to winning something or
being the best in a particular thing or getting something in a hundred percent
perfect fashion. But in my opinion, success can even mean setting some small
personal or team goals and getting them done.
My story is MAAW Global Academic Challenge of !". # possessed neither e$cellent
communication s%ills nor genuine leadership quality nor did an instinctively creative
mind li%e my other teammates. But # could %eep my emotions under control in crisis,
organi&e things systematically and encourage others in adversity.
We only had a couple of days left for submission of my teammates fell sic% and
they wanted to pull out for lac% of motivation. # %ept my own negative feelings
under control and put the thought in their head that we must go through with it
because once we start something, we must see to its end and shouldn't bother
much about the results and the completion of the tas% would be a success itself( At
last, everyone started wor%ing but in an unorgani&ed panic mode. # organi&ed all
their parts and submitted it although the deadline had e$ceeded and tried to
motivate them by telling them that it was at least a learning e$perience for( #n the
end, our not)so)properly)*nished wor% brought us the +rder of Merit Award(
