Meet the team

Marcin RojekCo Founder

Marcin has been fascinated by how digital technologies impact our lives and

make it more convenient for two decades. After earning master's degree in

computer science from the Technical University of Czestochowa, he worked

for various global companies including: Siemens Mobile, BenQ-Siemens,

Tieto, Ericsson, ST-Ericsson, Sony, Qualcomm, Samsung and more. He began

his career as an engineer and then moved into management positions

stamping the change by postgraduate certification in project management.

Marcin gained international experience while leading various initiatives in

global sales & delivery teams. These included: new business

development/sales, R&D build-up & leadership incl. project management in

multicultural environments. Engaged cross-functional teams (i.e. legal,

engineering, sales, marketing) to take ownership of software development

for Consumer Electronics, Semiconductor and Telecom industries.

Successfully delivered solutions in European, US and Asian markets.

In 2016 decided to follow his dream of having an impact on global

digitalization and co-founded byteLAKE.

Mariusz KolankoCo Founder

Mariusz is a graduate of Technical University of Czestochowa. After

completing a master’s degree program in computer science he continued

his engineering journey as a software developer. Later on shifted focus into

the areas of project management and customer operations. Mariusz worked

for several global logos like: TRW, Siemens Mobile, Benq-Siemens, Tieto,

BrightOne, Nokia, Vertu, Here, Adidas, ImmobilienScout24 and more.

Mariusz’s vast experience is based on a combination of software

engineering efforts mixed with successful Agile/Scrum/Kanban

implementations while wearing various hats of coach, advisor, project

manager and a scrum master. He worked with multicultural and distributed

teams across Europe delivering products for global markets. His practical

knowledge is backed by numerous certificates i.e. Scrum Master, Scaled

Agile Framework.

In 2016 he decided to combine his passion for technology with natural skills

in building efficient teams and became a co-founder of byteLAKE.
