The Treasure of Our Soul: The Apostles’ Creed
Dr. Scott Hahn, internationally known theologian and author, explains the inestimable value of the Creed as a sure means of communicating the life-giving faith of the Apostles and as an indispensa-ble source of unity for the Church. Dr. Hahn also brings to light how the Creed has served as a time-tested wellspring of meditation by which a believer can deepen his or her relationship with Christ, making it, in the words of St. Ambrose, “the treasure of our soul.”

Jesus said to them, "Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will
raise him on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink." - Jn 6:53-55

CALENDAR 5 CTK SCHOOL NEWS WS
Christ the King Catholic Montessori School is proud to be part of a tradition of providing a quality Catholic educa-tion. The school has consistently provided our children with an understanding of Christian values of mission, community, and service while receiving a quality academic educa-tion. The constant presence of God in the children’s daily activities is an irreplaceable life experience. No child should be denied this opportunity! Make A Difference This is where you, as a parishioner, can make a differ-ence. Your participation can positively affect the health of our beloved school. As our school enrollment increases, we are beginning to see more and more families in financial need. At some point in life even the most prepared can expe-rience hardships: a death in the family, the loss of a job, and numerous things that set our lives on end. While they may want to continue to send their children to Christ the King, parents may be forced to withdraw their children because of financial obligations. Again, no child should be denied the opportunity to be blessed with a Catholic education. Each year, CTK families, parishioners, alumni and friends have been invaluable in helping us assist families touched by difficulties, by making contributions to the Tuition Assistance Program. We need your help so that we can continue to pro-vide Catholic Education to those families in need. Your Support Your support of Christ the King School will truly support each student we serve. What could bring you more joy than providing a quality academic, spiritual, and moral education for our children? An investment in our children today is cer-tain to bring extraordinary results to our church and commu-nity in the future. If you would like to sponsor a student, please call or stop by the school office. Any amount helps, and our children are grateful! Thank you for your generosity!

Bison Catholic Coming from St. Paul's Newman Center -bisonCatholic: Come find out why campus ministry is impacting your future parishioners by joining St. Paul’s Catholic Newman Center at their 5th Annual bi-sonCatholic Fundraising Banquet in Bismarck! This event will take place on Thursday, October 4th, begin-ning at 5:30pm at the University of Mary. The Newman Center's mission at North Dakota State University is to serve the spiritual needs of the stu-dents and provide a faith-centered “home away from home”. As most of our parishioners are students, our ministry cannot survive without support from outside the Newman Center. The banquet is free to attend and will begin with a social prior to the initial program from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Please consider joining us to learn more about our mission, hear testimonies from our alumni and stu-dents, and be inspired by our keynote speaker, Ray-mond De Souza, KM, as he speaks on the De-Christianization of America. You can RSVP to attend on our website, www.bisoncatholic.org. If you would like to host a table of friends interested in our mission, please call the NDSU Newman Center at 701-235-0142 or email Jasmine at [email protected].
