Blenders presents Jordie LaneAustralian Jordie Lane is not just another guitar wielding, hat wearing, beard sporting, love song singing troubadour. A closer listen revealssongs that are epic tales and protest songs, and spectacular guitarwork. You never know what to expect at a Jordie Lane show, and youget the feeling that neither does he. Lane has that rare quality ofbeing able to lure and capture his listeners with his playful charm, rhythmic finger picking, and most of all, THAT VOICE.

Yukon Blonde have earned no shortage of acclaim for their olderhook-heavy brand of pop rock with amped-up rock songs and sun-dappled vocal harmonies. Their newer sound is faster and morepunk-tinged making it catchier and infinitely more fun to play live.Danceable and unrepentantly poppy, Yukon Blonde evokes vintagerock ‘n’ roll and late-’70s/early-’80s post-punk and draws inspirationfrom artists like the Elvis Costello, Ramones, and Talking Heads.Their fast-paced incredible live shows are legendary!

Singer and keyboard player Dan Moxon’s soft spokenand warm demeanor belie the frenetic stage anticsand vocal gymnastics that have made him one of themost unforgettable front men in the Canadian indiescene. He is as equally at home softly singing over apiano ballad as he is wailing over crushing drums andguitars. The rest of the band is just as dynamic.Channeling the best beats of Thin Lizzy and LedZeppelin, drummer Dana propels the band throughtheir live set like a twin-engine jet. At the flanks areguitar player Joseph Blood and bassist Matt Rhode.
