C-SERIES Configurable Compression Packages
What Does “Configurable” Mean?Configurable means that you’ll have access to complete base-model compressor packages which have been fully engineered and designed, including all critical studies.
More than 60 of the industry’s most requested options are also completely designed and engineered to seamlessly integrate with the base-models.
Using an online build it tool, customers can choose the base-model that best fits their application. Plus add any of the available options to be included in the configured package and submit.
Once an order is submitted, the data from the selection tool is entered into Exterran’s Oracle and AutoCAD systems to automatically generate drawings and bills of material.
The ability to “configure” an Exterran C-Series package eliminates virtually all of the up-front engineering costs and lead time from the package sale.
Imagine this robust, new unit on your site, ready to get to work in just 10 - 14 weeks!

C-SERIES 3516 Compression Package
1www.exterran.com
Exterran C-Series Configurable Gas Compression Packages are pre-engineered and assembled with high-quality components and a wide range of options – allowing for exceptional configuration flexibility and high performance along with rapid delivery and startup. Two product families are currently available – a 1380 horsepower Caterpillar 3516B lean-burn engine coupled to an Ariel JGT4 compressor as well as a 1680 horsepower Waukesha L7044GSI rich-burn engine paired with an Ariel JGK4 compressor. These combinations are packaged on a heavy-duty steel skid suitable for mounting on a compacted gravel pad, piles or an engineered concrete foundation.
Both product families are available with an extensive list of pre-engineered options such as upsized coolers, PLC panels and automatic valves.
STANDARD SAFETY FEATURES: Standard safety features include automatic shutdown controls and checker-plated, skid-resistant work surfaces. Safety is enhanced because all local instrument vents are collected, manifolded and routed to connections at the skid edge. Our design facilitates air emissions compliance with catalyst housings and exhaust sampling ports. Selectable safety options include exhaust insulation, caged ladders, OSHA-compliant work platforms, and trim to handle up to 2% H2S mol. process gas.

When configuring a C-Series package with the L7044GSI engine, customers also have the option of including an advanced emissions control system. Comprised of a 3-way catalyst, air/fuel ratio control and a color display panel/interface, an advanced emissions control system can simplify operation and keep your emissions in compliance.
While default settings are programmed by the factory, users have the ability to adjust to richer or leaner through system display panel interface, helping to maintain compliance as the engine ages. Optional systems that are currently available are Waukesha’s emPact system and the “ETS AFRC Advanced” system from EMIT Technologies.
