Carbon C1020 in tubeSPECIFICATIONS: GRADE CARBON C1020

Castle Metals distributes a wide range of carbon C1020 tubing as cold drawn, buttweld from our distribution centers in the U.S., Canada, Mexico,Shanghai, Singapore, France, and the U.K.  When customers call us about 1020 tubing, sometimes they say they are aggravated trying to figure outwhat their materials management process is really costing them. Castle can conduct a cost of possession analysis for these customers, if it makessense.

Carbon C1020 is a general purpose grade for tubular products. 1020 is produced to closer tolerances than ERW A513 type 1 & 2 and is thereforeconsidered a low cost alternative to CDS in non­pressure applications. 1020/A512 has excellent surface finish and machinability.

Many customers use C1020 for structural applications and flaring / bending applications.
