    Models Differences Table

    A Brief outline of the models by year with major changes is outlined in thetable below.

    During practical training, reference should be made to the flight manual ofthe aeroplane you will be flying to ensure that the limitations applicable forthat aeroplane are adhered to. Likewise when flying different models itshould always be remembered that MAU, flap limitations, enginelimitations and speeds may !ary between models and with modifications.Before flying different models, particularly if ma"imum performance isre#uired, the A$M of the aircraft you are flying should be re!iewed to !erifydifferences.

    Modifications

    %ommon modifications include the famous cargo pod, floats, most of the

    common 4;1L kits 6eg. @obertson and 4portsman7, additional fuel tanks and!arious engine modifications including a turbine !ersion. Details on commonmodifications a!ailable are outlined in the table on the following page.

    At present there is no @9 6retractable gear7 !ersion of the %&'+, as offeredwith the )'' series %essnas ;his is presumably because of the similarity andsuccess of the retractable %&)' on which the %&'+ was based.
