More PeopleLessons Learned:

1. Connecting people in our current demographic and community is a gradual and steady relationship process. At this point it is more about being present and building trust when the need arises.

2. Depending on backgrounds and history with church life, people seem to land on a scale with how comfortable they are in a corporate worship environment.

3. Much of this demographic is on the low end of this comfort scale requiring us to do more to meet them on their ground. (4 out of 5)

1. Multiple entry points.

2. Improve connection and communication with existing recovery programs at Hillcrest (Birch House Groups).

3. Intentionally create/participate in “Off Site” events that will allow us to better engage the 4 out of 5.

4. Strengthen and refine the existing worship experience for those who have made it to 616.

1. Current venue could be part of the road-block for reaching the 4 out of 5

2. Sometimes room scheduling creates unique challenges (ex. conferences & larger church events)

3. We are not currently succeeding at reaching 4 out of 5 where we currently meet.

More GospelLessons Learned:

1. We are seeing success with some recovery stories (1 out of 5).

2. We discovered that our current attenders were not responding as well to the more intense sermon time. We have adjusted 616 to be an intentional time of worship and reading through Exodus. (currently) We continue to work the gospel out in our lives as we discuss the scripture each week.

3. We need to get involved on a more personal level with people outside the church.
