  • Simple Leaded Designs

  • On the next 5 pages, we show 30 simple and classic lead designsthat suit most kitchen and furniture cabinets - from traditionalto modern.

For all these designs we would recommend that 4.5mm (3/16”)lead profiles are used, which are available in a range of colours(Antique, Brass, Natural and White).

With these simple designs, it is possible to apply the lead profiles onto certain textured glasses or to incorporate one of the Textured Glass Effect films that we offer (shown on pages 52-53).

The use of colour in designs adds vibrancy to your kitchen or furniture cabinet glass and allows you to create a truly artistic piece of decorative glass. We have a vast library of colours and glass effects available to us ranging from plain transparents to our wispy and abstract colours which look like traditional stained glass.

The range of 90 designs shown on the next 15 pages cover a wide range of decorative glass styles from traditional to modern along with specialist styles such as designs inspired by the work of Charles Rennie MacIntsoh and American Southwest/Prairie styles.

Etched glass effects are particularly popular in kitchen and furniture panels and they offer detailed decorative glasswithout the use of any colour. In this range of designs we have incorporatedetched glass, lead profiles and our range of Textured Effect Glass films to createmulti-textured yet colour neutral effects. However, if colour is wanted it is possible on certain design.

  • Bevelled Glass Designs

  • CABBEV 45 CABBEV 41

All the 78 designs shown on the next 13 pages are designed using bevelledglass pieces or clusters from the RegaBevel Definitive Collection catalogue. As well as the designs shown in this catalogue there are hundreds of alternate bevel designs available.

Many of the bevel pieces and clusters shown in these designs are availablein a range of colours or textures, for customers looking for an alternativeto the standard clear glass options. The colour options include Blue, Bronze,Green and Grey and some bevels are available in Glue Chip or the newDichroic finish which changes colour as you view the glass from differentangles. Please check with your supplier for availability,

The use of Bevelled glass pieces and clusters in the design adds an extra dimension to the decorative glass design. The 5mm thick, hand-made glass bevels will sparkle in the design as light refracts and reflects through the bevelled edge.

The range of 78 designs shown on the next 13 pages incorporate a widerange of styles from the classic elegance of the Simple Bevel Designs to the stunning detail of the Designer Collection with some interesting, more unusual, designs such as the inspirational Chinese scripts and beautiful Angel Fish design shown on page 42.

    Fusion FusionLite

For a more contemporary lookwe can now offer designs that incorporate the range of RegaLead Fusion and Fusion Lite glass tiles. These fused tiles are manufactured by slowly heating two or more pieces of glass in a kiln until they start to melt, and then gradually colling the moltenglass in a controlled way so that the pieces anneal and are fusedtogether.

We offer 2 distinct ranges of designs using the Fusion tiles - The Fusion designs shown on pages 48-49, are tiles incorporated intoetched glass designs. Our range of Fusion Lite designs on pages 50-51, combine fused glass tiles, lead profiles and coloured and Textured Effect films.

  • Sizes and LimitationsAll the designs in this catalogue are shown at 305 x 610mm(12” x 24”) but can be resized to suit most cabinet glass sizeswith minimal changes to the designs.

Bevel and Fusion SectionsIn the bevel and fusion sections, the glass pieces used are setsizes and cannot be changed.

Textured Glass EffectsThe maximum size possible is 450mm x 660mm (18” x 26”). If the glass area is over this size, it is possible to break up thedesign with simple lead lines.

Material SpecificationsLead ProfilesOur lead profiles are manufactured using 99.5% pure lead, modified with antimony and are applied to the glass surfacewith a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive.

Lead profiles are offered in either natural lead finish or with arange of coloured surfaces including White, Antique and Brasseffects.

All the lead profiles are available in 4.5mm (3/16”)/6mm(1/4”)and 9mm(3/8”) widths. In this brochure we have used 4.5mmwidth in all designs.

Glass BevelsThe glass bevels shown in the designs on pages 31 to 45 aremanufactured from 5mm glass with typically a 12mm (1/2”)bevelled edge. These products are hand-made and thereforeslight variances in size and bevel width are possible.

As these bevelled glass items are stock sizes, it is not possibleto change the sizes from those shown in this catalogue.

Several of our bevel pieces and clusters are available in a rangeof alternate glass colours including blue, green, bronze andgrey and we also offer certain items with a dichroic or gluechipped surface. Please refer to the ‘RegaBevel Definitive Collection’ catalogue for product availability.

Fusion TilesThe fused glass tiles are hand-made using Spectrum GlassTM

from the USA. We offer most tile designs in a range of coloursincluding Red, Blue, Green and certain designs are available inBlack, Clear and Neutral Cream colourways. Please refer to the‘Art of Fusion’ catalogue for product availability.

As Fusion tiles are manufactured by hand and involve meltingtwo or more layers of glass together, it is common to get smallair inclusions in the glass. These are a feature of the productand add dimension and contrast to the tile and should not beseen as a fault.

Fusion tiles are only available in stock sizes and it is not possible to change the sizes from those shown in this catalogue.

Stained Glass Art FilmThe colours and textures used in our designs are hand-printedmylar films with exceptional UV stability. The maximum sheetsize is 460mm x 660mm and therefore, it is not possible tohave any single piece of colour or texture larger than this size.

With our colour effect films (SF100, 200, 300, 500 and 600 Series), the pattern is hand-applied and no two sheets areidentical so variations in pattern and colour density are a feature of the product and should no be deemed a fault

Installation GuidelinesSilicone sealants are widely used to seal glass panels into cabinets. Unfortunately, the most commonly used siliconesealants, the acetoxy type which are recognised by their ‘vinegary’ odour, can cause corrosion of the lead profile sur-face and also to the coatings on the White, Brass and Antique effect profiles. To avoid this problem you must use a neutralcuring silicone which will not cause corrosion such as DowCorning 796.
