A tradition of progressionHistory

The brand PUK represents an independent private enterprise,

run in the best tradition of the German medium-sized

businesses.

PUK-WERKE was formally founded in 1969. Our history,

however, goes way back to the 1930s. Today, we look back

on 70 years of successful company history.

The Berlin-based businesses Herman Pohl OHG (general

partnership, founded in 1951), and the Anton Klein OHG,

(founded in 1935), whose shareholders decided in 1969 to

bundle their business activities in the PUK-WERKE KG

(limited partnership), form the roots of our company.

The merger of the two companies set the course for a

positive future. Synergies could be utilized, enabling the

enterprise to work the German market with greater intensity.

At the same time, this step laid the foundations for an

efficient internationalization of our business relations.

Both founding companies began their success stories with

the production of cable clamps – known until this day as

“Pohl-clamps” or “KSV-clamps”.

The development and production of cable management

systems was soon to follow, developing into today’s

complete and innovative product portfolio, complemented by

underfloor systems with new, patented solutions, as well as

mounting systems for PV installations.

Our expertise in the installation of PV mounting systems are

sourced from the long established experience of our Spanish

subsidiary PUK-Portacables and continue the success story

today together with PUK Solar.

Long running reliabilityCable trays

Wide-span cable systems are the ideal solution for mounting cables under wide support

point distances and heavy cable loads. Our system includes wide-span trays and

ladders which are available in different finishings, material thicknesses and steels.

Our range of wide-span systems includes:

– heights: 120 mm and 150 mm

– widths: from 200 up to 600mm

– with matching fittings, accessories and covers

Cable ladders are designed for multifunctional use and offer many installation

advantages due to the individual rung positions as well as the continously perforated

side-beams. Ladders are available in different widths and heights as well as different

steels, such as continously hot galvanized, hot dip galvanized and stainless steel.

Our range of cable ladders includes:

Cable trays give you an universal variety of cable installation, safe and adjustable. Cable

trays are available in numerous versions of width, height, strenght of material,finishings

and steels. They come with all the necessary precision mouldings and connection

elements.

Wire-mesh cable trays are a cost saving solution for mounting cables of lower cross

sections. They allow flexible installation by tailoring and adjusting them on site. Wire-

mesh cable trays are available in different widths, heights, finishings and steels

(continously hot galvanized, hot-dip galvanized, stainless steel).

Our special protection tube program is designed to meet the needs of the industry,

especially the energy sector. It provides a solution for every application based on the

material and surface. The program includes a variety of sizes, materials and forms.

Our range of protection tube products includes:

Fastenings are an important part of our cable management system and helps to ensure

fast and easy installation. Our fastenings are for different applications depending on the

project, load class and material type. They may be used for interior and/or exterior

(depending on the material). They are of high quality and available in different sizes and

forms.

Support systems are for installation solutions onto the ceiling, the wall or on

steel constructions. This includes all types of application and matching fittings. Our

Vertical ladders provide an innovative solution to be mounted onto the wall or free

standing by installing cables and wires directly onto them. You can choose between

light, medium and heavy duty as well as different steels ( continously hot galvanized, hot

dip galvanized, stainless steel). The light and medium duty ladders are made of

continuously perforated side beams and welded rungs made of C-profile. The heavy

duty ladders are made of beams of I- or U-profiles, with continuously elongated hole

perforation.

– heights: 50, 60, 62, 81 and 82 mm

– widths: 200, 210, and from 300 up to 1200 mm

The great variety of fastenings guarantees professional and flexible mounting. This

covers our complete product range.

Our range of fastenings includes:

High frequency cable clamps allow a safe and low-strain installation of sensitive high-

frequency cables in modern technical equipment such as transmission towers or power

stations.

Cable clamps are a reliable solution for safe and flexible cable mounting, offering

options of mounting one, two or three cables. They are applied in industry plants,

power plants or railway tubes for example. Vats are within the scope of the delivery.

175 mm.

Invisible, but always at handUnderfloor systems

Our preassembled device cups are fitted with snap-in device plugs and preconfigured

with up to four sockets and two snap-in plugs, meeting the customers' needs. This

allows a flexible and fast installation on site.

Our range of device cups and installation devices includes:

Our installation units made of metall or plastic are round or quadrangular for up

to 3 installation cups. A standardized installation dimension offers a wide-range of

application. Easy cable feeding allows a customized layout within the premises.

Floor trunking systems are suitable for different screed constructions starting from

35 mm screed thickness. They are applied by using a galvanized hollow space floor box

with perforated side walls and an opening for the shuttering unit to prepare the perfect

positions for our installation units later on. The shuttering unit and the hollow space floor

box are available with round or quadrangular openings.

Screed flush duct systems offer an easy installation for low screed constructions. No

formwork is required and and the system can easily be adapted to the present floor-

layout. No further support measures are necessary.
