Student Accomplishments:

Computer Class Spring 2017 have started their own blogs!

The Standing Tall Club has been instrumental in raising funds for Stroke Center student scholarships, raising over $1400 in 2015-2016 through baking, plant and craft sales to support the Student BBQ, holiday goodies and class supplies. KUDOS to Sharon O’Connor (who is also our Cabrillo student rep), Elana Andersen, Mary Ann Seymour, Maggie Reynolds, Karen Hirahara, Steve Mendence and all the participating students who support this amazing SDLC student club. We enjoy wonderful meals at our annual Holiday and Honors Day events because of these hard-working students, so please volunteer to help and support their events!

Welcome back Fern Ebert! She is back in class and participating fully!

Lily Ng is showing a noticeable difference in her balance during Yoga class, and speaking more with her fellow students. Way to go Lily!

Shelton Ivany’s basketball prowess at the SDLC Mobility March Madness!

MEMORIAL TO OUR FRIEND

We will miss you

Lois Bruce, dear

friend to all and

passed away on

March 30th. You

were one of our

bright lights here

at the Center, and

in the Santa Cruz

Community- working tirelessly for the

quilting community and Election Board.

We will always remember your wit and
