College Access / Success

It is not enough to get underrepresented student populations through the front door of college; we have to provide proactive support as they deal with the particular challenges they will face once they’re inside, or else many of them won’t stay.

Proposed Outcomes• As a result of participating in 3MP, minority male students

will have a higher persistence rate from semester to semester and year to year than non-participating minority males in the community college system, as demonstrated by enrollment data reported by the campuses.

• As a result of participating in 3MP, minority male students will have a higher graduation rate than non-participating minority males in the community college system, as demonstrated by graduation data reported by the campuses.

• As a result of participating in 3MP, minority male students will have a higher rate of transfer to four-year institutions than non-participating minority males in the community college system, as demonstrated by enrollment data reported by the participants and confirmed by the four-year institutions.
