Hi Friends,

“CAD” has become synonymous with Quality Scientific Serving. It has been

established on its own as permanent entry in the annual planner for many

physicians.

“CAD Interventional Cardiology Symposium” was introduced in 2008 & made

an emphatic intervention meeting in 2009, with the help from Euro-PCR, Prof.

Marco made it memorable with his Live-In-A-Box presentation.

This year, we are at the threshold of CAD Interventions (India’s prestigious

Intervention meeting) with the top luminous experts across the globe in

various roles. There will be an entirely new, magical spread covering various

aspects of PCI.

So don’t miss out & block the dates in your diary and certainly also with us!!

Best Regards

Highlights

Ahead

Interventional Cardiology Symposium

International conference of CAD is a residential conference focused on

Management of CAD from prevention to Intervention for last 9 years. Since

last 2 years we introduced full fledged programme on Percutaneous Vascular

Interventions. Last year CVS of India joined hand with Euro PCR and started

Learning-the-techniques symposium which was a great success. Building on

this foundation, we intend to develop platform for sharing rapid

developments in field of vascular interventions. At the same time, we have

equal focus in training young interventional cardiologists and keep them

updated of future developments.

With active participation of senior interventional cardiologist colleagues,

young interventional cardiologists and with generous support from industry

we are trying to create platform for sharing knowledge and improving patient

care in interventional cardiology. Please join us and share our vision.

Complex Vascular Interventions Symposium by CD Presentation

Share your views with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) from India and abroad.

Define the best strategies for your patients.

Each session will consists of case presentation by interventional cardiologist

and discussion based on this case with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL). This will

help audience to exchange their views and learn tips on day-to-day clinical

practice.

• Left Main Angioplasty – Techniques and Challenges

• Bifurcation Angioplasty Techniques and Outcomes

• Chronic Total Occlusion – Hardware selection

• Small Vessels – Learning from the trials

• PCI in Acute MI – Defining strategies in Indian Scenario

• Carotid Angioplasty and Peripheral Vascular Disease Interventions

• Renal Angioplasty

• Drug eluting stents : from revolution to evolution

• Revascularisation in coronary artery disease in 2010

• Left Main and multivessel revascularisation in 2010

• Innovation in stent technology

• New insights in stent thrombosis

Clinical Trials

Athero Thrombosis

Update 2010

SymposiumThis session is all on what you wanted to know about anti- platelet and anti

- thrombotic drugs.

The data from various trials like PLATO, TRITON, Current OASIS 7 and many

others will be reviewed by the experts and there will be interactive

symposia with the KOL.

• Defining role of newer anti-thrombotic drugs before and after PCI

• Redefining the role of Bivaludine in Indian scenario

• New ADP blockers – Do they balance ischaemic and bleeding risk

The Live cases provides opportunities to skilled operators to demonstrate

their techniques on complex interventions and share with the audience

• Live cases from various centers in India

• Live cases from Asian countries

• Live cases from Europe

Live Case Transmission

• Bio- Absorbable DES

• Polymer Free DES

• Nano Technologies

• Stem Cell Therapy

Future Technologies

This session is designed to review important trials published in 2010 which

will help to improve patient care. The session will also review trials which give

insight into the future.

• Treatment of ST Elevation AMI

• Treatment of ACS

• Emerging role of new anti platelet drugs

• Building on last year’s success and the great interest showed by the attendees,

this year’s plan is to convert this into certificate course to be conducted in two

parts.

• Diabetic lectures from International faculty

• Symposium on Integrating Imaging in Intervention practice

• Hands on Workshops

New Attractions

In the previous two meetings of CAD the overall profile of participant in the

intervention programme was young and dynamic. They represented every segment.

Some were keen researchers, DM or DNB students, and some owners of cath-labs,

some working as interventional cardiologists in a mid size or large hospital and some

vascular specialists. In 2010 meeting we expect the number to double from the

previous number of 125 - 250. This means there is a huge scope to meet them and

showcase the very best.
