following amendments in notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance,
Department of Revenue, No. 17/2002-CUSTOMS (N.T.), dated the 7th March, 2002,
published vide number G.S.R. 173(E), dated the 7th March, 2002, namely:-
In the said notification,-
(i) for the words Commissioner of Customs, the words Principal
Commissioner of Customs or Commissioner of Customs shall be
substituted;
(ii) in the Table, for the entries in column (2), the following entries shall be
substituted, namely:-
Principal Additional Director General or Additional Director General, Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence posted at Headquarters and Zonal/ regional units.
2. This notification shall come into force with effect from 15th October, 2014.

Principal Chief Commissioner of Customs who shall have jurisdiction over the
whole of India;
