1.0 Introduction

2.0 System Description

B. System Description- The online cafe system will be built in Microsoft Access. It will

provide menus, input forms, and reports as outlined in the project deliverables section below.

Database forms and programming will provide forms for customer information, shop

information, food orders, and food information.

3.0 Feasibility Assessment

A. Economic Feasibility-

Tangible benefits include:

1) Faster transaction processing is expected.

2) Automated transaction record management is expected to reduce the wrong transaction

record

3) Improve the profit by advertising food with online, the profit will increase 20%

Intangible benefits include:

1) Save time for customers.

2) Increase customer satisfaction.

B. Technical Feasibility- The development team members that are working on this assignment

have extensive experience with Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel. The goals of this

project are within their range of their skills

C. Legal and Contractual Feasibility- There are no potential legal issues beyond the fact that

confidential information is used. This information is currently used in the system that is in

place so there is no more of an issue than currently present. Any private data will remain

confidential within the system and under the responsibility of the end users.

D. Schedules- Team members will follow standard procedures for reporting progress,

documenting work and communicating with other members.

E. Political Feasibility- The application will be easy to use. Most people are already reasonably

proficient with Excel. The perceived usefulness should be high because it will allow them to

more readily access information from a single source. We feel that the customer will be

pleased with this application because it is being tailored to their needs. The solution will not

have a major effect on people’s roles, but will require some training in Microsoft Access if

the user is not familiar with the software.

F. Operational Feasibility- The proposed system will streamline online transaction process,

provide better management of shop information, registered customer information, food

information and also help keep customer information up-to-date. The proposed system

directly supports IUKL Cafe business goals to increase revenue and provide better customer

service.

4.0 Management Issue

A. Team Configuration and Management-The project team has agreed on a project timeline.

Tasks will be completed on time. Team members will follow standard procedures for

reporting progress, documenting work and communicating with other members.

B. Communication Plan-We will communicate with other team members via Email or by

telephone. Relevant project information will be sent to each member.

C. Project Standards and Procedures-Our project will use Microsoft Word 2013 for any word

documents. The website will be in HTML format. We will use Microsoft Access 2013 for

our database/application. Data modeling will be done in Visual Paradigm.
