Kullan›m:‹lk kullan›mdan önce, kahve makineniziniçindeki herhangi küçük bir parçac›¤›n yada kirin temizlenmesi için, en az iki defa sutank›n› max. seviyesine kadar suyladoldurup, kaynat›p ard›ndan kalan suyuboflaltman›z tavsiye edilmektedir. Bu ifllemden sonra ö¤ütücü kutusunu kahvemakinesine geri tak›n›z. Ö¤ütücü kutusununba¤lant› noktas› motor flaft›na do¤rukilitlenmelidir (fiekil 2). Aksi takdirde ö¤ütücükutusu yerine tam olarak oturmayacak vebu durum da ö¤ütücü kutusunun zarargörmesine sebep olacakt›r.

• Tank›n doldurulmas›: kahve çekirdekleriniö¤ütücüye ekledikten sonra, istenilenmiktarda suyu, iç kapakta belirtilengöstergeden tanka dökünüz (fiekil 4). Suyutank›n sa¤ k›sm›nda belirtilen su seviyegös te rges ine bakarak koyunuz .

Not: Suyu tanka koymadan önce, iç kapakyerine yerlefltirilmifl olmal›d›r.

• Filtre bölmesinin ç›kart›lmas›: Filtreyi filtrebölmesi içine yerlefltiriniz ve filtre kapa¤›n›tekrar yerine takınız. Ard›ndan filtre bölmesiniyerine do¤ru itiniz.

• Tank kapa¤›n›n kapanmas›: kapa¤›kilitlenmesi için afla¤›ya do¤ru itiniz. Bucihaz “ güvenli iç kilit” sistemi iledonat›lm›flt›r.

• Kahveyi demlemeden önce: Cam sürahiyi›s›tma plakas› üstüne yerlefltiriniz.

• Cihaz fiflini prize tak›n›z. LED ekran›nda“18:88” belirecek ve yanacakt›r. 5 saniyesonra siz saati ayarlay›ncaya kadar “12:00”belirecektir. Cihaz saatini “saat ayar›”bölümünden ayarlayabilirsiniz.

Safety is importantFor yours and others safety please readthe instructions before using the appliance.Please keep this instruction in a safe placefor the further use. Usage:Before first use, it is recommended that youfill to the maximum level mark with freshwater, boil and empty the coffee maker atleast 2 times to clear coffee maker of anytiny particles. Do not drink the water. Pleaseclean all the detachable parts, such as thegrinder box, filter, and filter compartmentand so on completely.

Set the clock:• Once the appliance is connected to power

supply, 18:88 will display and flash on theLED display, after 5s, the LED will display12:00.

Note: If you do not set the clock, you cango directly to other settings.

• Press the “program” button once (see LEDdisplay). You are now in the “Time Set”mode and can operate either “hr” or “min”button to achieve the desired setting. Thebuttons can be held down to scroll throughthe digits, or pressed and released lightlyto advance one digit at a time.

• Confirm the clock setting by waiting for 15seconds.

Set the program time:If you do not want the coffee maker startoperation immediately, you may set theautomatic start function as follows:

• After set the clock (suppose the currenttime is 13:30). Press the “program” buttontwice. You will enter the state of “preset theautomatic start time” (see LED display).The desired time can be set by pressingthe” hr” and “min” buttons to scroll forwardthrough the digits.

• When the desired time setting approaches,press the on/off button twice. The indicatorof program will be illuminated. When thepreset time achieves and the indicator ofprogram will be extinguished. The indicatorof on/off will be illuminated and thecoffeemaker will start to brew.

Note: You can see the automatic start timeby pressing the “program”. You candetermine the display time is programmedtime or current time by seeing the lowerindicator on the LED (the details refer tothe LED display)

• If you want to cancel the preset program,press the on/off button twice. The appliancewill start to brew immediately.

• Reset the “automatic start” mode, onlyfollowing the steps 1-2 again.

Make Coffee with Coffee Beans:Before you make the first pot of coffee inyour new appliance, we recommendoperating the coffee maker once, usingonly water and paper filter. This will removeany dust or residues which remain in thesystem from the manufacturing process.

• Adding coffee beans: Open the tank coverby pushing the release button and liftingup, and remove the grinder box , then openthe grinder box lid by screwing it, fill thegrinder box with the desired quantity ofbeans according to the marks on the grinderbox. The marks indicate the coffee beanwhich making corresponding coffee (seefig.1). Generally load the Grind box till max.

level. Do not overfill or the Grinder box maybe blocked and/or the coffeemaker mayoverflow. After that assemble the grinderbox into the coffee maker, it must be notedthe connector groove must be locked intothe motor shaft (see fig.2). Otherwise thegrinder box will not be assembled in placeproperly, and it may damage the grinderbox.

Note: The grinder box must be removedfor adding beans.

• Replacing the grinder box cover: (see fig.3),first place the grinder box cover in unlockedposition, then turn the grinder box lid inclockwise until it lock into the lockedposition, otherwise the appliance will notoperate.

• Filling the tank: after adding the beans,pour the desired amount of water in thetank from the indication on the inner cover(see fig.4), and the water level shallaccording to the gauge located at the rightof the tank.

Note: Before filling water, the inner covermust be assembled in place.

• Pull out the filter compartment: Place itselfpermanent filter in the filter compartmentand replace the filter cover. Then push thefilter compartment in place.

Note: Please do not forget to place the filterpaper in to the filter. Permanent filter mayallow some ground coffee to flow into carafe.

• Close the tank cover: Press down to lock.The appliance is equipped with a safetyinterlock system. The details refer to thesection of “Trouble shooting”.

• Before brewing coffee: Make sure you havereplaced the carafe in its position on thekeeping warm plate.

• Plug the cord into an electrical outlet.“18:88” will display and flash on the LED,after 5s, “12:00” will appear until you setthe time. Set the current clock accordingto the “Set the clock” section on the above.

• Make sure the indicator of grind off mustbe extinguished.

Note: If the indicator of grind off isilluminated, it means that the appliance ison the “make coffee with pre-ground bean”mode. The appliance will omit the step ofgrinding bean.

• Select Cups Setting: The 1-4cup settingbutton is used to control the time of grindingbean, if you want make 1-4 cup coffee,press the button and the indicator of 1-4cup will be illuminated. The time of grindingbean is about 30s. If you do not press thebutton, the default set is 5-12 cups. Thetime of grinding time is about 40s.

Note: The 1-4 cup button only use in the“make coffee with bean” mode. In otherwords, the indicator above of the button ofgrind off must be extinguished. In the “makecoffee with pre-ground bean” mode, it isunused. And during operation, the buttonis not activated.

• Immediate grinding and brewing: Press theon/off button, the indicator of run will lightand the process will begin.

• Programmed brewing: If you do not wantthe coffee maker start operat ionimmediately, you may set the automaticstart function according to the “Set the

program time” on the above.• When finish grinding bean, the brewing

process begins.

Note: During operation, you can take outcarafe, pour and serve at any time. Theappliance will stop dripping automatically.But the time cannot exceed 30 seconds.

Caution: When the brewing has almostfinished, the quantity of steam will be muchmore, and the steam may run out fromcontrol panel, filter compartment and othergap. It is normal, you only need to care ofnot be burned by steam, it will not affectthe normal operation.

• Once the coffee has finished brewing, stirit before serving to blend the flavors. Thecoffee at the bottom of the carafe will besomewhat stronger than the coffee at thetop. After brewing, the unit will keep warmfor 2 hours and then automatically shutpower off or press the on/off button twiceto shut power off and unplug the poweroutlet.

Make Coffee with Pre-ground Coffee• Filling the tank: Open the tank cover by

pushing the release button and lifting up.Make sure the inner cover is in place, thenpouring the desired amount of water in thetank according to the gauge located at theright of the reservoir.

• Pulling out the filter compartment: Addground coffee to your permanent filter. Ourrecipe suggestion is using 1 level scoop ofground coffee per cup. Adjust the recipeaccording to your individual.

Note: The maximum capacity for groundcoffee is 10 level scoops, using a permanentfilter. Exceeding that amount may causeoverflow if the coffee is too finely ground.

• Replace the filter cover and push the filtercompartment in place.

• Before brewing coffee: Make sure you havereplaced the carafe in its position on the

keeping warm plate and have placed afilter in the filter compartment, replace thefilter cover.

Pause and Serve:This feature allows you to pour a cup ofcoffee before the entire brew cycle hascompleted. By removing the Carafe, theflow of coffee from the bottom of the filterbasket will stop.

Caution: Return carafe to warming platewithin 30 seconds. Hot water continues toflow into the filter basket when this featureis used. Overflowing coffee and hot waterare a burn hazard.

Automatic shutoff:The Automatic Shutoff feature shuts off thewarming plate 2 hours after brew cyclebegins. Always turn coffee maker off andunplug when finished.

Cleaning and MaintenanceCompletely clean and dry all detachableparts after every use. It must be maintainfor 30 minutes every two cycles. Thepurpose is let the appliance cool downcompletely.

• Always turn coffeemaker off and removethe plug from the electrical outlet beforecleaning.

• Remove all the detachable parts.• Pull out the filter compartment. Remove

filter cover and filter.• The grinder box, grinder box lid, filter, filter

compartment and filter cover can bewashed in warm soapy water and rinsedthoroughly, or cleaned in the upper rack ofthe dishwasher. Dry all parts after everyuse.

• Do not put any water in the unit once thegrinder box has been removed. Wipe thearea under the grinder box with a dampcloth. If water gets into the grinder motor,the motor may become damaged and maymalfunction.

• Once after cleaning, reverse the belowsteps.

• Remove the carafe from the keeping warmplate. Discard any remaining coffee. Thecarafe and lid can be washed in warmsoapy water and rinsed thoroughly, orplaced in a dishwasher. The carafe andcarafe lid should be placed on the upperrack only.

• Do not use scouring agential or harshcleansers on any part of the coffeemaker.

• Never immerse base unit in water or other

liquid. To clean base, simply wipe with aclean, damp cloth and dry before storing.

• Wipe the keeping warm plate with a clean,damp cloth. Never use rough, abrasivematerial or cleaners to clean the restingplate.

• Do not dry the inside of the tank with acloth, as lint may remain.

Trouble shootingDuring operation, if the water tank cover/grinder box/carafe are not in placeseparately, the motor will be cut off, thebuzzer will alarm, and the LED will displayand flash. The details of display accordingto the following:

• If the tank cover is not in place, the displaywill show“OP1”and alarm sound will beheard.

• If the grinder box is not in place, the displaywill show“OP2”and alarm sound will beheard.

• If on the state of heating, replace the grinderbox and water tank at any time, theappliance will continue to working.

DecalcificationDecalcification refers to removing thecalcium deposits which form over time onthe metal parts of the coffeemaker.For best performance from yourcoffeemaker, decalcify the base unit fromtime to time. The frequency depends uponthe hardness of your tap water and howoften you use the coffeemaker.To clean, fill the water reservoir to capacitywith a mixture of 1/3 white vinegar and 2/3water. Turn the coffeemaker on by pressingthe ON button. One cycle should besufficient to adequately clean thecoffeemaker. When the cycle is completedand the five beeps sound, turn coffeemakeroff. Repeat operation, this time using freshcold water.
