Introduction to the Human Energy FieldIts Role in the Future of Healthcare

The Human energy field (HEF) is a holographic projected lattice of primarily light and soundemanating from a twin poled core at the centre of the human body with multiple interpenetratinglayers.

The EF has often been seen, described and depicted in religious and spiritual writings datingback to the earliest writings. ennis !ilner in his book the "oom of #reation recounts hisobser$ations of distinct body field layers with circular and triangular structures in differing layers.

%p until the early &'thcentury, detection of the energy field (EF) remained in the hands of certaingifted indi$iduals, including clair$oyants whose enhanced range of sight allowed them to detectenergy fields, either through their $isual sight or through the more etheric third eye brow chakra

(chakras are energy gates into the energy field, described later) .

    The EF is composed of electro*magnetic and bio*dynamic radiations that can be measuredagainst the Electro*!agnetic +pectrum with a $ariety of different de$ices +-%, E+!, /E+T,00, Electrography, 1adionics, 2#!3+ ("escher) 2ntennae, /io*feedback metre and 45 toname a few.

The HEF is a protecti$e sheath which can be punctured and torn leading to illness and disease. tis a blueprint for where and how our physical body hangs in space and time. #hanges in the

physical6emotional health status of an indi$idual are reflected and can thus be detected in theirHEF (and $ice $ersa). ndeed practitioners of complementary and alternati$e therapies (#2!)including eastern medicines such as acupuncture belie$e that physical6emotional imbalances(including disease) are caused by and thus preceded by disturbances in the energetic body. tseems more likely that not only does the energetic matri7 effect the physical6emotional bodyshealth but so too can the re$erse be true.

    Vibrational Medicine

/ased on such concepts, there now e7ists a whole body of medicine termed energy or $ibrationalmedicine. This approach acknowledges the non*physical (subtle energetic) make*up of the bodyand seeks to treat disease by releasing energy blockages and imbalances. n turn this helps torebalance and sustain the physical6emotional bodys health. t is the case that when a brokenbone is left it will e$entually heal itself lea$ing no pain, but with limited durability, mobility andstrength. Howe$er if the bone is repositioned to set in the correct manner then full durability, mobility and strength can return. The same is true with the HEF. 2ny damage to thephysical6emotional system will be reflecti$e of a corresponding weakness in the EF. f noattention is gi$en to the underlying energy matri7 then any repairs carried out on the

physical6emotional body will be done upon an unsound energy matri7 and thus ha$e limiteddurability, mobility and strength.

2s a result of increased interest in this field (as well as all aspects of complementary andalternati$e medicine, #2!) there is naturally a growing scientific interest in the search forobjecti$e, $alid and reliable methods of measuring bio*energetic health status.

An ability to detect illness and energetic disturbances reliably and accurately in apersons etheric body days or weeks prior to the appearance of actual physical symptomswould be truly miraculous

    (Richard Gerber, 2!

The past few decades ha$e seen large ad$ances in the #2! field. There are protocols in placeto rigorously e7amine the efficacy and safety of these treatment modalities so that they may beincorporated into the modern healthcare arena. Howe$er, a common complaint of #2!practitioners is that the clinical research being carried out to test their $alidity is not performed ina manner which complements their gi$en modality i.e. takes no account of the mechanismin$ol$ed. t is apparent to #HEF1 that the majority of #2! therapies in$ol$e an energeticcomponent, as part of the healing or treatment process, and thus an assessment procedure thatconsiders all these aspects would seem necessary. 3mitting this intertwined $ariable could gosome way to e7plaining why many of these research papers ha$e found erroneous, often

    conflicting results.

The Atlas of Disease States (ADS!

The AODS is shortened from the Atlas of Human energy Field images and data collated to revealthe stages of each Disease State to triangulate an individuals health trajectory.

"HEFR constructed a model of disease stages based on se#en distinct stages ofmanifestation. These different le$els are measured against an a7is of time and are sub* di$ided

from three major groups* pre*medical, medical and post* medical. t is possible to calculate anindi$iduals health trajectory well before symptoms would gi$e rise to a diagnosis that is sadlyoften too late to initiate a program of healing.

0rimary pre*symptomatic is the first stage of disease manifestation and can be seen ascongestion or a leak in the HEF meridians or energy channels. The acupuncture pointstherefore re$eal this primary stage long before the indi$idual feels any pain, hence thetradition in #hina where the community paid the doctors to keep them healthy and were

reimbursed if e$er taken ill* pioneering holistic insurance8

+econdary pre*symptomaticis reached when the imbalance affects the #hakras in the HEF sothis throws out the bodys natural self*healing mechanism.

0rimary symptomatic9 now imbalances can be detected the HEF o$er the organs that will beafflicted as the disease takes its physical manifestation. Earliest pathological test wouldnow re$eal this imbalance.

+econdary symptomatic with pain. /y now the indi$idual concerned is feeling pain so is on hisway to see his 40 or local doctor and his symptoms will re$eal the right treatment that will

    cure his disease.

2cute * depending on the type and se$erity of the condition any number of different treatmentsand assessment techni:ues would re$eal and affect different aspects of the illness. Thebest model is one that e$aluates each case indi$idually to work out the most cost effecti$eand least in$asi$e treatment that would be appropriate.

#hronic in many cases a simple cure is not a$ailable and the physical body is often affected in adegenerati$e way. !any modern scanners can witness the impact of chronic disease inthe body including #2T !1 ;*ray

For instance a set of 00 energy field images will be taken along with /E+T and E+! readings. These results are correlated, $ia online communication, through the 2tlas of isease database.+imilar case studies that match the new clients data are collated together in a computerisedbasket which then analyse the data to see if similar symptoms are re$ealed. This will lead to astatistical probability rating of possible energy field matri7 weaknesses that can be addressed topre$ent the possible further manifestation of disease.

Health rediction ) triangulating an indi#idual's Health Tra*ectory$

This new concept, pioneered by r. Thornton +treeter is based on the benefit that newtechnological ad$ances in holistic diagnosis allow us to identify an indi$iduals uni:ue healthposition before the physical manifestation of a disease. r +treeter belie$es that the energy fieldis the matri7 upon which our physical bodies hang. 3ther scientific researchers and pioneersha$e also followed this understanding. (!cTaggart, &''>)

The concept of establishing an indi$iduals health trajectory is not new any doctor can be hearde7plaining the likely progression of symptoms to a patient. Howe$er, in terms of pre$entati$emedicine to work it must be able to reliably track a persons journey into a particular disease. Thesoundest method of predicti$e $alidity is to correlate results gained from any test with a past

database of results. This process can identify and point towards possible de$eloping diseasesthat can then be pre$ented from manifesting within the physical body.

This would transform global healthcare, its efficiency and cost*sa$ing in time and materials8 Thusfar the main control system for establishing the health trajectory is 0olycontrast nterference0hotography (00) combined with the electro*scanning method (E+! 9 +ee +chool of Electro*#rystal Therapy).

    The Electromagnetic S&ectrum

The E!+ is the ruler upon which all 5ibrational fre:uencieslie. The E!+ is of particular interest to #HEF1 because it isclear in the history of medical de$ice de$elopment that thehuman body can be measured at many different le$els on theE! spectrum. #HEF1 is in$estigating whether there aremore non*in$asi$e, more predicti$e and more cost effecti$esystems which e$aluate our bodies in hitherto unutilisedwindows on the E!+.

2s far as the medical sciences are concerned you will oftenfind a de$ice whose scanning spectrum can be related to a

particular window of the electromagnetic spectrum. ;*raysare produced by a wide range of medical de$ices in amodern healthcare en$ironment, whether for dentistry or forassessing fractured bones. n the same way, ultrasound isused both to check the health of an embryo as well as for theremo$al of kidney stones. Here are two de$ices each withtheir own range on the E!+.

n #2! research o$er ?''' papers ha$e been publishedconcerning the rele$ance of thermal imaging in breast and

PIP energy field imaging utilises the $isible spectrum as its source for its energy interferenceimaging, but accentuates the colours so that information which our brains discounts can be maderele$ant for health scanning purposes.

3$er the past century a number of systems ha$e been de$eloped which attempt to detectaspects of the HEF. 2lthough the mechanism of each de$ice $aries often they rely on aninteracti$e process with the re$ealed data or image being a result of this interaction. 0erhaps thefirst to pro$ide the first $isual e$idence of subtle energy fields were +emyon and 5alerie @irlianwith their now well*publicised 0hantom "eaf e7periments in the >AB's (e.g. 4erber, &'''). n themodern era we ha$e a$ailable a number of systems including ad$anced forms of @irlian, whichare able to $isualise and6or :uantify the HEF.

The etheric field is the densest of all the energy bodies and is closely related to the physical. t isthought to e7tend up to & cm beyond the surface of the skin. #HEF1 belie$es it is the matri7 ofenergy field on which the physical molecules are strung.

#HEF1 reasons that the etheric fluid like substance that flows within this layer of the HEF isresponsible for the patterns that appear in mens body hair and on babys scalps, a bit like thepattern submerged reeds take on at the bank side of ri$ers.

t is widely recorded that there are C interpenetrating layers of the HEF they are the Etheric body, astral body, mental body, causal body, #elestial body, @etheric body and the +oul.

First is the densest physical layer* the skeleton. De7t are all the organs, biological systems, muscles, flesh and skin make up the Second layer.

TheThirdis also a physical layer, an etheric fluidlike substance that flows inand out of the skin. This layer is considered part of the physical HEF andplays the important role of remo$ing the etheric to2ins from the body. To7insof high enough fre:uency that they are e7pelled directly through the skin anddo not rely on either an e7cretory system, like the kidney, bladder, and urinarytract for li:uids, or the intestines and bowels for solids.

The Fourth layer is known as the aura or etheric layer. Here we find thegross outline of the bodys energy &le2i or "ha,ras.

    The Energy Field Tem&late

The energy field is likened to a template on which the physical molecules are strung. t not onlysurrounds the outside of the body but permeates through it. et with photography it is onlypossible to achie$e a two*dimensional image and thus we take a series of $iews around the bodyand compare colour symmetries, shapes and patterns from the different angles.

    The "ha,ras (energy centres!

#HEF1s in$estigations ha$e centred on studying the energy $ortices along the spinal cord, commonly known as #hakras (from +anskrit meaning wheel) and to show their physiologicaland psychological connections to the holistic body.

The #hakras ha$e a configuration ithinand ofenergy... as a whirlpool is to water. The major#hakras are sub*atomically linked to the endocrine glands. Each chakra is linked to a

physiological endocrine gland $ia ner$e ple7us and directly affects the gland it is connected to.This in turn has a strong influence on the psychological functioning of the mind. #hakra acti$itycan thus indicate the le$el of balance and health of the physiological gland and the surroundingareas. Each gland releases or absorbs certain hormones which are responsible for all emotionalstates.

2 key function of the chakra $ortices is to absorb the re:uired $ibrations and e7pel to7ins andnegati$e $ibrations. Each chakra acts like transponder. The se#en ma*or "ha,rasaccount for

the se$en colours of the rainbow and the se$en major musical notes, se$en planets, se$en daysof the week and se$en endocrine glands.

Each chakra spins at their own specific fre:uencies. The slowest spinning chakra is the base andthe highest is the crown. The #hakras draw in energy from the uni$ersal energy field that is thendistributed $ia the meridians (channels) of the etheric body to the cells of the physical body.

The etheric body is the densest of all the energy bodies and is closely related to the physical. t isthought to e7tend up to & cm beyond the surface of the skin. #HEF1 also belie$es it is the matri7of energy field on which the physical molecules are strung.

    The osition of the "ha,ras

    The cha,ras of the head

There are differing allocations concerning the crown and brow energy centres and the pituitaryand pineal glands. n fact almost half of the rele$ant literature relates the pineal to the crownwhile the other half relates it to the brow centre. %ntil someone is able to do an etheric biopsy adefiniti$e answer may not be forthcoming. 2s the master gland the pituitary influences thefunction of many of the other glands, this should clearly indicate its association with the crownchakra. n the same way the pineal gland with cells similar to the optic cells would lend itself tobeing associated with the brow centre (third eye chakra). The 3ldfield #ollege, on behalf onwhom #HEF1 conduct this PIP energy field imagingcourse relates the pituitary to the crown but

interestingly 1ichard 4erber of 7i+rational edicineconnects the pituitary with the brow chakraand the pineal with what he refers to as the head chakra (crown) (page >?'). 3thers to makesuch association include ohn E$ans who suggests thatG

Taking all the e$idence into account it is impossible to make any physiological correlation for thehighest conscious centre, the crown chakra, e7cept in terms of the pineal and posterior thalamicregion8 ind &ody and 5lectromagnetism% )) 91

The crown chakra can be situated on the top of the head in some indi$iduals. n others it can befound in the area of the $erte7. The base chakra is located around the perineum. n the male theepicentre for the base is located more to the front of the body, corresponding to the position of

the prostate. n the female it is configured more towards the back of the body, corresponding tothe cer$i7. The back of the chakra is opposite the front for the throat, heart, solar ple7us andna$el #hakras.

The position of the #hakras can $ary slightly from indi$idual to indi$idual (e.g. the heart chakramay be found a little to the left or right of the midline in some people. t may be the case that thechakra front and back may e7ist upon an angle and not tra$el through the body in a le$el line. Fore7ample the hearth chakra may be lower on the front of the body and higher on the back. n

disease states the chakra may be seen to de$iate from its normal healthy position (i.e. energyflows may be so disrupted that the chakra is unable to maintain its normal position).

    Sha&es

The accepted shape of a chakra is circular or elliptical. =hen #hakras become irregular andcontorted it suggests that the endocrine area is out of synch. =ide emanations coming from thebody, especially if low6red in colour, are seen as energy leaks. f malfunctioning continues o$er a

period of time, then physical disease may well manifest in the associated organ6chakra area. nlow energy states, such as chronic fatigue, the majority of the #hakras are often seenclair$oyantly to be smaller in shape than those seen in healthy states.

/arbara 2nn /rennan has got some $aluable information her two books, Hands of !ight and!ight 5merging concerning the shape of energy centre or chakras. 3ne of limitations 00, being&*dimensional only, is that it can only gi$e us a limited understanding of a chakras functionalhealth.

The colour blue, so in the sonic octa$es and the element 2kasha areassociated with this area. The throat chakra is linked in many teachings to the opening of theThird and Fourth eyes and the gateway to higher sensory or e7periential perception. The /row chakra is an important controlling master chakra and interacts with the #rown both

through the influence they hold jointly on the two interacti$e endocrine glands the 0ineal and the0ituitary. This is some debate as to which is controlled by which but it is perhaps more logicaland natural to think of them as interdependent and interacti$e, just as their physical glands. The/row chakra is also known by the name the third eye as it connects most strongly to the 0inealgland. This gland is light sensiti$e and in reptiles acts as a third eye recei$ing light informationnot through the actual eyes. n Humans there are receptors in the eye that dont tra$el to the$isual corte7 but instead mo$e through the 0ineal gland. This gland is the seat of our 0sychicabilities and where intuition occurs.

This gland is the bloods watchdog and preser$es the radioacti$e and radio*emanati$ee:uilibrium. For e7ample the brow chakra is linked to the pineal gland with its two petals, whichgi$es the mind its duality.

The 0ineal (in conjunction with the 0ituitary) has full control o$er the functionality of the otherendocrine glands in the body. t is in these glands that we find the roots of the other #hakras.#erebrospinal fluid constantly washes o$er the pineal and the pituitary gland and then flows

down the spinal column. +o this glands are able to send 5ibrational signals (the bodies ownhomeopathy through the memory of water) to the other glands instantaneously which controls thespin of the $orte7..

This $orte7 rises in $elocity until the speed of light with each chakra ha$ing a propensity toresonate with a particular colour on the spectrum. epending on the signal from the brain (pinealand pituitary) the rele$ant chakra either absorbs the colour re:uired or eliminates the ethericto7ins, whilst the physical body eliminates the solid, li:uid and gaseous to7ins.

This chakra is responsible for the 0ineal gland and will be disturbed if one is holding back onesown knowledge of etheric energetic principle as well as if the body is se$erly out of balance. t isassociated with the e7treme disharmony of .ustand the harmonious state of Restraint.

    "ro/n cha,ra0sahasrara

This main chakra is located at the $erte7 and is known as thethousand petalled lotus. t is the spiritual link of the indi$idualsoul with the rest of e7istence. The role of this energy centre iswell known in the +cience of oga and in #hinese traditionalmedicine. et a modern scientific understanding of this mainchakra is emerging with startling implications for mankind.

This chakra interacts with the 0ituitary (as well as the pineal)to be an o$er aching control o$er the entire bio*energeticsystem, physiological, psychological and energetic.

This chakra is responsible for the 0ituitary gland and will bedisturbed if there is lack of spiritual connecti$ity and growth. This is the area where we hold onto our egoss (our

There are many minor #hakras, which include temple, forehead, jaw, mouth, ear, elbow, palms, fingertips, knee, feet and toes. n fact we ha$e billions of tiny chakras, like pours in the body, absorbing and e7pelling continuously.

manual for the structure and function of the #hakras nadis and meridians as the currentallopathic literature is for the preparation of medical professionals.

#hakras are shapes caused by energy in motion that is connected through symmetry and a pointon the spinal column. ts function is to transmute lower fre:uencies into higher fre:uencies and$ice*$ersa. The physical representation of this is to e7pel to7ins (spin them out like a Frisbee)and to attract and tune into particular cosmic colours and $ibrations that are currently re:uired forthe alchemical processes sometimes enforced by an una$ailability of what is re:uired in thedietary range. That is the transmutation of elements one into another and can only occur

resonating the element back into high fre:uency 2kasha and the re solidified as the new elementre:uired.

=ith this in mind (as well as work carried out by Frit< 2lbert 0opp) areas that are disharmoniousor less healthy will be trying to absorb more energy than areas that are healthy. t seemstherefore that physical diseases occur after the HEF has become so se$erely imbalanced that itcan no longer perpetuate :uantum healing and sustain the physical matri7 againstdecomposition.

+o ultimately the body interacts with the cosmos through light to balance itself. That is why weha$e a chakra system so that higher fre:uencies abo$e our range of sight can be utilised by thebody.

Energy field structure and function"hi- rana and bio0energy

The concept of uni$ersal energy is the most common theme of all mystical traditions. nTraditional #hinese !edicine (T#!) the term chi or :i is used to describe its presence.

n terms of human anatomy the chi is the bio*energy and in its multiple forms it pro$ides thebreath of life. +o there is the di$ision between genetic chi and inherited chi, that both reside inthe kidneys, and with splenic chi that deri$es from food, breath and the en$ironment.

n the 00 Energy field image the red streams of tired chican be seen earthing as healing or rebalancing takes place.

n the 5edas the uni$ersal energy is known as prana and is

further sub*di$ided into apana, surpana, upana

    The Acu0&oints and Ashi oints$

The acu*points (also known as regular points) are the linkbetween the chakra system, as minute energy centresthemsel$es, they are strung along the human anatomy to

form lines or channels* these se:uences of acu*points in turndefine the anatomy of the meridians.

These points are not in dispute as they are being stimulated, needled and monitored by millions throughout the world. 2 newde$ice called the 2cu$iew*B is currently being marketed whichclaims to re$eal the e7act location and functional health of eachacu*point

There is a huge difference of some C',''' 3hms between theskin resistance at an acu*point and on another part of the skinsurface.

The acu*points play a crucial role in eliminating the gaseous to7ins from the body, they can getso blocked with the e7haust debris they need to be physically unblocked to retain well*being , likea pipe and pipe cleaner* but in the acu*points case with a needle by an acupuncturist8

The acu*points can be di$ided into se$eral groups, primary points, confluent points, connectingpoints and cleft points. Further sub*di$isions gi$e us back*shu points, front*mu points, crossingpoints, influential points, auricular points. Their original #hinese names also re$eal their purpose, well points, spring points, stream points, ri$er points and sea points. 3thers are named afteranimals, such as fish and rabbit plants such as bamboo objects such as cooking $essel andbasin and architectural structures, such as gate, window , chimney, courtyard and platform.

The 2shi points are unfi7ed points and tender spots as they are not anatomically standardiAAI). The network connectshundreds of tiny points in the body where heat, electromagnetic and more subtle energies tend to form in reser$oirs. These hot spots on thesurface of the skin are what are referred to in #hinese medicine as acupuncture points. 2lthoughconnecting the acupuncture points the meridians are not limited6 restricted to the body surfaceflowing as they do deep into the body, through the organs and muscle groups and hence can bethought of as the bodys energy bloodstream.

There are twel$e main or trunk meridians surfacing >& times throughout the body as channels

forming a continuous interlinking chain. Each channel or segment is re:uired for theorgan6system it ser$es.

/elow is a table indicating the >& trunk meridians together with their appro7imate start and endpoints.

There are two additional energy pathways known asthe central /conce)tion4 and governing meridians. The term meridian is used loosely here since their

function is different to those of the >& trunk meridians.1ather than being associated a specific organ6systemthese two energy channels are thought to beresponsible for interaction with the surrounding(energetic) en$ironment.

These diagrams show some of the major meridians ofthe body, in particular the central and go$erning.+ince these ha$e a role of e:ternalenergy interaction, they are the channels shown most clearly with the 00.

Each of the trunk meridians flows through and ser$esat least one organ or physiological system. The role ofeach meridian often relates to the function of the organwith which they are linked. For e7ample, like the

kidneys themsel$es, function of the kidney meridian is one of purification i.e. it filters to7ic energyallowing energies that ha$e been obstructed begin to flow freely.

The meridians affect e$ery physiological system in the body including immune, ner$ous, endocrine, circulatory, respiratory, digestion, muscular and lymphatic. Their roles includebringing $itality and balance, remo$ing blockages, adjusting metabolism and e$en determiningthe speed and form of cellular change. f the meridians energy is obstructed or unregulated the

    system it feeds becomes jeopardised.

+ince disruptions in energies often precede illness (as with chakra imbalances), meridianreadings are sometimes used to predict health $ulnerabilities with the possibility of pre$entingdisease.

    The Eight E2tra Meridians

ncluding the abo$e*mentioned 4o$erning and #onceptual $essels, which must be linked to thefront and rear chakras, are si7 further e7tra meridians. These are the #hong, which connects withthe kidney meridian and is lateral at the abdomen the ai meridian, which connects to the4allbladder meridian and is on the lateral side of the lumbar region. There are also the an:iao,in:iao, angwei and inwei meridians which connect with multiple meridians 9 all the abo$ementioned I channels share their points with the >B major meridians this helps strengthen andregulate the flow of -i in all the channels.

    The T/el#e Di#ergent Meridians and Fifteen "ollaterals$

The di$ergent meridians and collaterals ensure the entire body is energised with -i as theybranch from the >& main meridian channels and so strengthen and join the entire meridiansystem. The i$ergent meridians are mainly in the upper part of the body and run deep within it,

conse:uently they do nor ha$e any surface acu*points and act as e7tensions to the mainmeridians. The collaterals are in control of the human body surface and each of them has aconnecting point with the main channels.

    The Meridian's dynamics

There are three factors, which affect the dynamics of the twel$e meridian channels. =hetherthey are Kang organ meridians (heart pericardium, li$er, spleen, lung, kidney * 2ll solid organs) or

Fu meridians, (gall bladder, stomach, small and large intestine, urinary bladder and the sanjiao *The Hollow organs)

The Kang organs are related to ing * The Fu organs are related to ang. The second factor iswhether they are ing or ang. The third is whether they terminate at the hand or foot. Thereare eight other energy meridians in classical #hinese acupuncture. The main two corresponddirectly with the +ushumna Dadi with its chakra chain of energy $ortices. These eight channelsregulate the prana6chi and blood of the whole body.

The u channel is the confluence of the ang channels and is known as the go$ernor. The 1enchannel is the confluence of the ing channels and is the responsible channel. The u is the

/ack !idline channels and the 1en is the Front !idline channels. The #hong !i or 5ital channelis known as the +ea of /lood. ai channel is like a belt around the waist and gi$es the HEF itshori
