AWARDING CREDIT • Determine level of education by

establishing primary, secondary and tertiary benchmarks

• Establish whether or not the institution is authorized to grant terminal degrees (ex: BS, MS, or Higher Diplomas)

• Review years, semesters, quarters, and/or hours attended. CSUN awards 3 units of credit for 45 hours.

PLACEMENT Minimize credits earned at vocational

accepted (both Lower division and Upper division).

minor is approved by the department via an electronic Substitution/Waiver form.
