Installation Tips

• Directional notch is marked on the edge of each plank. For a consistent appearance, this mark must be laid to the same side for the entire installation.

• TimberTech planks must be installed embossed side up. The unembossed surface is not to be used as a walking surface.

• Double joist all butt joins.

• Follow installation instructions for correct gapping.

• Use a spacer for easy, consistent gaps when direct fastening. A Deckmate spacing tool is recommended to give perfect gapping. This is supplied complimentary on request with orders.

• Ensure all joists are spaced at a maximum of 450mm centres.

• TimberTech’s ingenious CONCEALoc® hidden fastener system is designed to combine ease of installation with the sought after look of a screw free surface. CONCEALoc is a registered trademark of OMG, Inc.

• TOPLoc™ Fascia Bit and Fasteners are designed for proper fascia installations every time – allowing the fascia to hang in place. This system has been shown to minimise oil-canning by allowing the fascia to move independently of the rim joist.

• Complete your deck with colour coordinated facing & riser boards. Sizes available: 305 x 14mm x 3.6m or 184 x 14mm x 3.6m.

• Terrain floor slip resistance rating R12.

• Predrill holes before fixing.
