What a difference Is this you? And finally…

Every £1 you raise makes a difference and we really hope you have fun whilst fundraising for us.

But do you really know what a difference you make?

Tiny Tickers exists to improve the early detection and care of babies with serious heart conditions.

Every year in the UK, 5,000 babies are born with congenital heart defects (CHD). 3,000 will require major surgery or a procedure in their first year of life, but less than half of these serious defects are detected before birth, meaning many babies are sent home without a diagnosis or appropriate care.

Tiny Tickers work to increase detection rates in babies with CHD because early diagnosis is shown to greatly improve a baby’s chances of survival and quality of life.

£5 - Enables us to send diagnosis information and support booklets to four families£10 - Pays for 15 mums-to-be to receive our Big Tick awareness pack£100 - Means our experts can provide a sonographer with specialist training£500 - Lets us put information materials in 850 baby clinics and GP surgeries£1,000 - Pays for practical training sessions for up to five sonographers£10,000 - Would enable a regional training program for up to 100 sonographers
