Tuesday, February 23 Spirit Day - Students may wear any STM Spirit Shirt with uniform bottoms. Chess Club -- 3:15 - 4:15 p.m. Faith and Family - Motherhood Series - Church - 7:00 p.m. IT'S ALMOST GALA TIME AND WE NEED YOUR HELP We all have different business that we visit on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis (children's sports lessons, play places, restaurants, theaters, gyms, florists, retail stores, etc) . We are asking for any ideas of places that might be willing to donate items for the auction. If you have a relationship with the owner/manager and feel comfortable asking them, we can follow up with the detailed donation information. Or, if you want to send the names of businesses, and if you have it, a manage/owner or contact person, we can take care of the rest. We are hoping to pick the collective brain of the school community to come up with the BEST Silent Auction yet! And don't forget to think of family members, co-workers, friends, neighbors who might have contacts for donation items! Here are the categories that we currently have (but feel free to think outside the box!): Religious Items, Men's Table, Entertainment, Home & Garden, Kids & Family, Treasures & Pleasures, Jewelry, and Almost Live Items Be sure to check out the VIP, Babysitting and Ticker Order forms attached to this memo! STM SCHOOL AND KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS JOINT PROJECT:WHEELCHAIR MISSION FOR VETERANSOn Friday, February 12, 2016 STM students and Knights raised $309.00 for the wheelchair project atthe first Lenten Fish Fry. That will add 2 chairs to our total for the year. Come out on Fridays duringLent to enjoy a great dinner, purchase sodas or make a donation to help us with this project. Alsoplease consider volunteering at a Fish Fry on Friday nights as we can use adults as well as students.Contact Mrs. Warner ([email protected]) or Mrs. Felton ([email protected]) tovolunteer.

ANNUAL STUDENT TALENT SHOWSTM’s annual student talent show will be April 8th in the new gym. The show will be open tostudents in 5th through 8th grade. Start working on your talent ( singing, dancing, acting, gymnastics,etc.) so you will be ready for auditions on March 21st The show will be limited to 15 acts that will bechosen from the auditions. This is a show NOT a contest! Watch upcoming memo’s for additionalinformation.

ARCHDIOCESAN MOTHER-DAUGHTER PROGRAMTHE MOTHER-DAUGHTER PROGRAM will be held on Saturday, March 5 from 2:00 - 4:30 pm; sign-in:1:30 pm. at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, 7810 Cypresswood Dr., Spring, TX. 77379. Theprogram is for girls ages 9-12 and their mothers or significant mother-figure. The program fosters anatmosphere of love and understanding in discussing God’s plan for the gift of human sexuality and thechallenges of living chastely.Program fee: $40/family includes refreshments and take-home resources.Registration is limited to 50 families for each program.

Steps for Students2016 Incentives

Level 1: Raise $30* per child and receive an STM dry fit shirt

Level 2: Raise $75* per child and receive an STM Pom PomBeanie OR a pair of STM pajama pants

Level 3: Raise $150* per child and receive a STM folding chair

Level 4: Raise $250* per child and receive a STM jacket

Every family that raises over $500* in donations, will be enteredinto a drawing for four Rockets tickets (Game: TBD)

*Prizes are additive – for example, if you raise $500, you will receive the prizes from levels1-4 and be entered into the drawing. Please note these totals cannot include your $15registration fee for the race itself.
