A structured occupational training program that combines on-the-job training and related

instruction in which workers learn the practical and conceptual skills required for a skilled occupation,

craft or trade.

3. Related Training and InstructionCalled the “RTI” – the classroom training portion or associated curriculum (144 hours per year recommended)

4. Rewards for Skill GainsProgressive wage increases commensurate with increase in proficiency

5. National Occupational CredentialRA Completion Certificate is a recognized post-secondary credential under WIOA (Section 3(52)); stackable and portable

On-the-Job (OJT) Training equates to approx. 2000 per year

Training takes place in the work environment OJT hours are time spent in work processes in

specific tasks related to the occupation 50% of OJT up to 640 hours can be reimbursed by

the workforce system OJT hours range from 2000-8000 typically Hours will be tracked and verified by an approver
