CAMPARE: Who has par6cipated? 38 students from nine different majors have par6cipated in CAMPARE: • Physics and Astronomy, Geology, Biology, Math, CS • Aerospace, Computer, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering
CAMPARE: Who can apply? Anyone majoring in science or engineering can apply! The only requirements are : • Arizona and UC research: complete freshman physics before the summer; at
least sophomore physics preferable • SETI: Sophomore standing; some coursework and skills helpful • JPL/Caltech: No specific requirements, but sophomore standing and good tech
background helpful • Arizona educa6on/public outreach: freshman physics and astronomy
coursework preferred • Don’t graduate before the summer (community college transfers OK) Applica6on materials are: • On-‐line applica6on, including personal essay • Transcript • 2 leaers of recommenda6on (e-‐mailed directly to program) Applica6ons are due February 14, 2014
