INVITATION FROM THE CONFERENCE CHAIRMAN
On behalf of the Executive Committee, it is my great pleasure to invite you to attend Middle East Petrotech 2016 in Bahrain.
• All abstracts must be submitted via the website by completing the online submission form at: www.mepetrotech.com
• All abstracts must be submitted under one of the nine technical topics
• Abstracts should be no longer than 1,500 words
• Any illustrations, tables, graphs and references should be included as attachments
• The content of the abstract is the author’s responsibility
• Abstracts are due no later than 27 April 2016
• Authors will be notified of abstract review results by 4 May 2016
GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACTS SUBMISSIONS
The conference will attract the top scientists and business specialists in their fields, which will encourage business growth, diversification, job creation and career enhancement all for the benefit of the downstream industries.
In challenging economic times, optimising the best return on assets will be a focus of the conference, through energy conservation, new tools for the successful completion of projects, operational excellence and encouraging a culture of reliability and efficient turnaround maintenance.
Of vital importance, is to understand the latest developments and trends in the global economy and future shifts
in market dynamics. Top management and economists will discuss possible ways forward in an uncertain world.
Health, Safety and Environment will also be showcased at Petrotech 2016 in a bid to encourage the creation of a culture of plant safety and environmental practices to help ensure a safer and healthier future for future generations.
Finally, I would like to encourage professionals from the different industries to participate including national and international oil companies, professional societies and universities to have a memorable and rewarding event, and I am confident that we will all benefit from our mutual interaction at Petrotech 2016.

Over the last two decades, Petrotech has developed to become an international platform for industry experts, delegates, visitors, and exhibitors to gather from all over the world to exchange knowledge and ideas.
The conference theme “Teaming Up for Excellence: Industry, Government and Education” is focused on the symbiosis between downstream oil professionals, government officials and those active in the education and training fields.
