October 12 & 13, 2011, Hyatt Regency, Buffalo, New York Advanced Energy 2011 will be held in the City of Buffalo, located in New York’s western region. e conference will be co-located with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 2011 IEEE Smart Grid for Practitioners – Buffalo Conference (SG4P-Buffalo), and will include attendence and speakers associated with a broad range of advanced energy applications, academics and research. e conference is timely in that the world is witnessing an unprecedented growth in developing countries, which presents challenges for the resources needed to sustain such growth. e challenge for the scientific community is to identify technical approaches that will hasten the introduction of new energy technologies in the marketplace. Poster contributions are solicited to review recent developments, driven by both fundamental research and technology, in areas of Offshore Wind, Commercial/ Residential Solar, Smart Grid, Battery Storage and Energy, Natural Gas Supply and Demand, Geothermal, Electric Vehicles, Energy Policy, BioEnergy, Building/Energy Efficiencies, and other energy related topics. An exciting line-up of invited speakers will be attending. e process for abstract submission is now open until September 22nd 2011.
