Notes, health and safety considerations, child protection: Grass may be slippery and caution when using the ladder into the bunker. The ladder is 20 feet tall, so use cautiously. Any fire in the bunker could be dangerous as there are no emergency exits so avoid using candles etc. Automatic locking door, avoid shutting it and locking yourself in.

Shirt, trousers, smart shoes and suspenders. He would also be wearing a Gas mask box.

Advanced SchedulePolly to arrive in advance to unlock the bunker and check everything is in order. Actors to arrive at Jess’ House beforehand to change into costume and have makeup done. Polly to collect equipment and props and transport them to the bunker.

Cover SetThe bunker is under cover, so no issues of weather conditions, backup field by the brewery in

Ashwell which has a thicker cover of trees to protect from rain. We will also bring umbrellas for our actors and equipment.

Directions to Location:

On Foot: From Baldock to Ashwell: Very Long walk, at least an hour. From Polly’s house to Bunker: Up the Bygrave Hill, to the thick covering of trees, about 15-20 minutes’ walk uphill. Meeting point is Polly’s House.

In Car: 5 Minutes to bunker from Polly’s house. From Baldock to Ashwell: 20 minutes.

Bus Routes/Rail/Underground: N/A. Buses to Ashwell every hour from the high street, short walk to Polly’s house.
