One of the original pressure testers, Greene’s has developed unique, best-in-class safety methods known throughout the industry, as well as pioneering the use of hydraulic torque wrenches and creating an Engineered Field Torque Guide for our field personnel to ensure accuracy of torque values set by the manufacturer.

Case Study Performed – Value to Customer • A Traditional BOP test takes 16 steps on a rigs critical path and averaged 7-8 hours of rig time. • When the Greene’s test stump was used, eight of the test steps were performed offline, reducing 3-4 hours of critical path rig time. • This process also improves safety by eliminating rig crew handling and makeup of TIW valves with the iron roughneck on the rig floor. • Another benefit of this procedure is that it allows Greene’s to mitigate any potential equipment issues before rigging up on the next well.

Greene’s Energy Group Standard • Certifications include serial numbers, calibration date, pressure rating • Third party testing on our equipment for certification • All certified equipment and tooling is provided to HSE during field audits • GEG requires all certifications to be carried with each unit in a binder
