Aptitude Test will be conducted for the eligible Applicants from the NVQ level 5 or thequivalent diplomas: 16 of February 2020

The applicants will be notified about the Aptitude Test in advance. It is the responsibility of the thapplicants to notify the University if documents for Aptitude Test admission are not received by 14

of February 2020.

In weekday degree programmes, priority will be given to those who are qualified NVQ level 5/6 or those who have equivalent diplomas, and the remaining vacancies will be filled from G C E (A/L) qualified candidates, based on their Z-scores.

Only the Short Listed candidates for relevant degree programmes will be called for the Aptitude Test.

to Weekday Programmes

www.univotec.ac.lk The applicants who are employed should forward their applications through their

respective employers. Please send the completed applications to the address given below on or th before 18 of January 2020 by registered post. Indicate clearly, the desired degree programme and

the qualification - NVQ or G. C. E. A/L , on the top left hand corner of the envelope. Please enclose,

along with the application, copy of the certificate of the relevant qualification, the deposit slip of

applications-processing fee of Rs.1,000/= as which may be deposited at Bank of Ceylon Branch to

the credit of University of Vocational Technology, Account Number 0070308457, Bank of Ceylon,

Ratmalana Branch. (IMPORTANT : Incomplete applications and applications without the deposit

slip will be rejected.)

Entry Qualifications for Education Degree Programmes

Preference will be given to those applicants with post diploma industrial/teaching experience of at least 1 year duration.

* Equivalent qualifications to NVQ level 5 or 6 have to be established by TVEC; for such qualifications which the TVEC has accepted as deemed to be equivalent to NVQ level 5 or 6 , the candidate has to submit written documentation issued by TVEC as evidence with the application. Equivalent other diploma qualifications have to be established by a committee on equating & validating certificates and diplomas of National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA)

* Exemptions may be granted for relevant modules after a proper evaluation for those who have NVQ level 6 or equivalent qualifications.
