2012 Lottie Moon Christmas OfferingCalvary’s Goal: $60,000

National Goal: $175 MillionIngathering Day: Sunday, December 9

All offerings given during both AM services on December 9 will go solely to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.

His Heart, His Hands, His Voice – through givingChristians may have different functions, but we all come together to form the body of Christ. Southern Baptist missionaries can’t carry the Gospel to the ends of the earth without our support. Through our giving, missionaries are freed to concentrate their time and efforts on engaging the unreached with the Gospel. How much will you give to reach the ones who still do not know? Think about what you spend on Christmas gifts for family and friends. Then consider giving your gift to God through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.

Ministry News C.O.M.E. - Calvary On Mission EverydayMultiply God once again brought me back to bedrock through this simulcast. We as believers in Christ are to be about making disciples! That means that we are to share the gospel. And the ones who respond by accepting Christ become great treasures to our church. We are to teach them to make disciples. We are to walk with them until they can walk with someone else. This is the heart of Christ. I am ready to recommit myself to this task, are you? If you have any interest in learning how to make a disciple of Christ, call Ed in the Church Office. It is our desire that those who are interested will come together and help each other as God gives us precious ones to minister to.

Greeters We are going to launch this ministry this Sunday. Look for men in blue! If you would like to be a part of greeting those who come on our campus, contact Ed in the Church Office. This is a great way to let people know that we are so thankful that they chose to come to Calvary.

Dennis Swanberg is very funny! Get your tickets for the Churchwide Christmas Banquet so you can see him in person.

Recreation MinistryUpward Basketball Coaches Needed Our Upward Ministry is in immediate need of four coaches (either women or men, young or old)! Practice will be held on Saturdays for one hour beginning December 1, and games will be either on Monday or Tuesday nights, at 5:30 or 6:30 beginning January 8. Please pray about this with us. If no one comes forward, we may have to cancel the season which would be heart breaking for the players who have signed up. Please call the ROC, 836-2949, if you would be willing to serve in this ministry.
